I would sign Schill, but he would have to understand that he would be a number 3 pitcher on this team. that would be hard for him to accept, so I'm not sure if he would go for it. Ego is big. I love Schill. I have an autograph picture on my wall. But sports is a "what have you done for me lately" world and he need to accept that now.

The bottom line is that the Pats should have signed him up after this season. A nice 4 year deal that makes him happy. look, the guys has proven he can play. He is not injury prone. He is young and at the begining of his prime. He can tackle, which Ty Law could never do, by the way. This is a key piece to the puzzle and if they were going to spend all that cake in the off season, they should have started here. If they lose him, so be it, move on. But it didn't have to happen

this is all true. Giambi was a great signing at the time. former MVP. Heighsight is 20-20. If the yanks looked the other way, they are not any more guilty than any other team in the league. many teams had to have know what was going on with their players. The past is the past. It might be time for the yanks to move on from this guys to get things starting the right way. not that care if they ever win another game, but I try and be fair :)
