Reminds me of Nuke Laloosh as per Crash Davis, a million dollar arm and a 5 cent head!
Let's look at their line-up
Youk, Pedroia, Tek, Masterson, Pap, Lester, Elsbury, Delcarmen, Lowrie - Farm System
Beckett, Lowell, Crisp, Bay - Trades
Drew, Matsuzaka - Free Agents
Big Papi - Waiver Wire
TWO major players came via free agency. I would bet that most teams include more major free agents than do the Sox.
How about having a clue what you are talking about?
(c) Aggravated statutory rape is the unlawful sexual penetration of a victim by the defendant, or of the defendant by the victim when the victim is at least thirteen (13) but less than eighteen (18) years of age and the defendant is at least ten (10) years older than the victim.
Aggravated statutory rape is a Class D felony which is punishable by a sentence of 2 to 4 years!
The number of lovers Mindy may, or may not have had is irrelevant. The issue here is Clemens and his reputation or lack there of. Like I said before, if you sue for defammation, that is EXACTLY what you will get. Let's break down your statement and apply it to real life. You go home to your wife after she has read in the papaer about your alleged affair with some woman/girl and you answer by saying, "but honey, she's absorbed more semen that toilet paper!" LOL Now we go from the movie "FROM ROGER MET MINDY" to yet a new flick starring Roger and Debbie called "CLEMENS VS CLEMENS."
If he done this, the story would have died just as Pettites did! At this point, he has brought this ALL upon himself.
Let's see the guy is not only still learning to be a Major Leaguer but a lead-off hitter as well. His batting average is only .256 as of yet however he is in the top 20 in MLB in bases on balls and OBP despite the low average. He is yet to be caught stealing in the majors, has blazing speed and plays great defense. Yea you are right, he sucks! We should trade him right away!
Rest in Peace Eve, you have permanent court side seats now!
That said, the difference in this case and Vick is that no laws were broken. While I or other fans may hold him in comtempt for this, he isn't a criminal. It is also true that MLB would be a shakey ground if they decide to make this an issue because of the culture issue.
I can only say that I am disappointed and am no longer a fan but I doubt that Pedro will care very much unless quite a few others feel the same way and he feels the displeasure in his wallet and is booed!
Which of course something a "boy" might say. A grown man, walks away from such a comment and doesn't give it any credence. By throwing a tantrum, he makes the guy sound correct. He could have walked away and if the comment was that offensive to him, kept his mouth shut and filed his grievance!
You show yourself to be about as ignorant and stupid as one can be.
You do not deserve to live under the umbrella of freedom that our brave men and women in uniform provide you. Let me guess, you will comeback with "freedom of speech!" You will be correct, you have every right to say what you like. Another right those men and women provided you with their sacrifice and blood!
Even as a Sox fan, I would prefer to see Santana in a Dodgers uniform and be able to watch both the Sox and Yanks develop the great young talent they have put together.
The rivalry is stoked when you are competing with homegrown talent versus a myriad of hired guns.
