Penn State was an awesome power until they joined the Big 10. Hurt recruiting dramatically. Used to get all those powerful NJ recruits. What kid from NJ wants to play for a team that travels about the midwest when he can stay closer to home and his folks can actually go to some away games without getting lost in forever corn fields? Just a thought.

WVU won 2 of the last 3 BCS bowls the Big East went to. Beating Georgia in 2006 and embarassing Oklahoma this past January. Not sure about Michigan but that's pretty fair.
