SJ Pete's Comments

The Ravens have 1 legit wr in Smith and Pitta just had a major injury so he lost his top TE. The only good passing options Flacco has are Smith, Dickson and. . . Rice. No more Boldin and Pitta was supposed to soften that loss. Rices receiving totals just went up with this injury and probably his rushing attempts too
LeSean McCoy comes to mind too. I know last season was a huge disappointment and in Chip Kellys offense he has the potential to put up some big numbers. I just don't consider him a fantasy superstar yet after 1 elite season or I would say him over Rice based on the possible difference between what he did last year and this one.
I didn't like the Johnson pick because he really can't do much better than last year. I know his TDs were low but he set the record for yards by a receiver and if Bush is an upgrade in the run game that means fewer pass attempts and less production from Johnson not more.

But then right chose Brees, who was the #1 scorer in fantasy last year. How can he do "MUCH" better than he already did? As the top scorer he has nowhere to go but down, and if he does score more it will only be slightly better not MUCH better,

If you're looking for someone who is a considered a fantasy stud to have a big improvement from last year the answer is Ray Rice, who is coming off the worst season of his career with the fewest rushing yards, catches, and receiving yards in any of his 4 seasons as a starter. He should improve in all 3 areas this season and if you're comparing points scored last season and this season he will probably have a larger differential than both of your picks.

Sadly he wont go to the right team. He will end up in some dump like Cleveland or KC

I was going to mention this and always want to say that based on his picks I don't think he's actually watcged a single game this post season, or if he has then he doesn't have a clue how to follow the sport. Latos #1?!?! No Marco?!?! Rights list is perfect

He should've been starting from the get go, Weeden shouldn't have even been drafted. Colt had 0 weapons, no rb and no wrs. They took Richardson to address one spot, the pick they used on weeden should have been used on a wr- either Hill or Jeffrey. And since Weeden is so old they were forced to play him right away since he was a first rounder. Worst pick of the draft.

While I would like this the only problem I see with his choices is that the Giants have been completely embarrassed by the Nationals this season - only 1-5 against them and if I remember they were lopsided losses. Maybe things change com playoffs since Giants have experience and the Nats don't (and also wont have Strasburg) but I cant completely look passed that 1-5.
HCF fantasy sports arent time consuming at all. 10 minutes once a week to set your lineup and that is it. You spend more time in 1 day on this site doing TDs than I will spend the entire football season taking care of my 3 teams. I understand people not getting fantasy sports but time consumption is not problem.
They're not shocking anyone who actually watches baseball. The Dodgers have only become more talented in the last 2 weeks. Before that the Giants were definitely the better team.

Lead team in BA (#2 IN NL) and runs scored. He was second in every other offensive category behind Posey. They will miss him because Belt wont match that kind of production, especially how consistent Melky was. Belt will have a good stretch here and there but no way he's as consistently productive for 45 games as Melky was for 110.

Not really. With the exception of Melky every one of those picks (even the WS) is possible and could even happen. All 4 of my picks will finish top 2-5 at worst and that's inclusing Melky. And if you look at comment #21 you would see that I actually think McCutchen wins NL MVP.

Actually I think McCutchen over Melky but just wanted to say everything is Giants and Angels

AL MVP- Trout
AL CY- Weaver
NL MVP- Melky
NL CY- Cain
WS- Giants and Angels

Everything stays between those 2 teams
Georgetown has an interesting lineup too- maybe not full of all time greats but VERY solid

PG- Allen Iverson
SG- Sleepy Floyd
SF- Reggie Williams
PF- Alonzo Mourning
C- Patrick Ewing

G-David Wingate
F- Jeff Green
C- Dikembe Mutombo
I don't know if Wooden ever called him that but many college basketball "experts" consider him the greatest college player ever- the 88 wins in a row, 3 time all american and 3 time player of the year (kareem was only 2 time player of the year). But I give Alcindor the nod for winning 3 titles to Walton's 2. Making a lineup like this they are basically 1a and 1b and interchangeable. I'd have liked to put one at pf because you couldnt argue against them but both were officially C, and having one listed as a bench player (regardless of which) makes them the best bench player from any team.
No love for UCLA?

PG- Walt Hazzard
SG- Gail Goodrich
SF- Marques Johnson
PF- Don MacLean
C- Lew Alcindor

G- Reggie Miller
F- Jamaal Wilkes
C- Bill Walton

Starting 5 can hang with any of the other 5 listed and I think this is by far the best bench. Walton off the bench is insane (if we are talking just what these guys did in college he would be the best center on any team if not for Kareem ahead of him), Miller was still a lights out shooter and scorer in college and would be great to come in late in a game and Wilkes would be a solid starter if ti weren't for Johnson already on the team.

There's also a lot of other options if you prefer newer players instead of the Wooden era guys- Ed O'Bannon, Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, Baron Davis, etc.. UCLA has a rich history with lots of superstars

Im surprised no one has commented on his statement that "Japanese experience/title is more impressive than an American WS". Ludicrous
