I wanted to clear one thing up before we go any further! The title of this blog specifically the 'Death of Dummy" portion was made up long before I learned my rotten gizzard had spread to my bones, it is NOT a reference to me and besides, I'm not dying anyway, I just might not live as long as some of you other Dummies!
For those that might pass before me, rest in peace my friends and for the Dummies that will be here after my departure, enjoy your life, your family, your yard, your pets, whatever it is you enjoy, do what I do and ENJOY the Hell out of it! And don't forget, the Guide Bear will live forever!
Crappy Washington State scored 26 points against Oregon and Arizona State is averaging over 40 points a game while Oregon is giving up an average of 20 points per game so while it might seem kinda high, 35 points for the Sun Devils is not much of a stretch.
I know it sure hasn't looked like it but the defense is supposed to be the Longhorns strength this year. And Im not impressed that WVU hung 70 points on Baylor, I'm more impressed by Baylor hanging 63 on WVU!
Nichole, they're not pre-season games, they are called non conference games and some of them take place later in the season as well, like Stanford at Notre Dame Oct.13 and Notre Dame at USC Nov. 24. The SEC also play many of their non conference games later in the season.
It's a disgrace when a team the caliber of Oregon schedule teams like Tennessee Tech from the fcs, the lower tier of division one football as opposed to the FBS, the upper tier of 124 teams of which the Pac-12 belongs.
By calling them pre-season games instead of clearing things up you might be adding to the confusion. Other than that, very nice blog, entertaining, good flow and a good read.
When white males, (the most favored and privilaged race and gender in our society by the way) complain about their lot in life because women, minorities and cripples might complain about their disadvantages, that is the attitude of a loser.

But nevermind the predicted scores, that is mighty fine work by Outlaw, very nice blog!

Awesome line right there^^^ and you could exchange 'SEC' with 'nation' and it would still be accurate.
Very nice work on your blog with some good depth and insight!
Hi Mr. Hole! My gripe with your proposal is that it diminishes the importance of the non conference portion of the schedule.
