Actually, no, they shouldn't. There is no reason why the university system should be a paid minor league for the NFL. No reason at all. If future NFL prospects feel they should get paid for their minor league training, they should work with the NFL to set up a true minor league system. The college system should be scrapped, and with the pro prospects opting to go for the money, we'd get back to true college sports, played by people in college to get a degree of some sort, not slide along with a free ride for playing a game.
