Posted Wednesday November 18, 2009, About: Will controversy cost Rodriguez job?
This is a flash back to Bump Elliot's last few years @ Michigan, a team going nowhere but into the abyss. The character issues that followed Richie from WVU is in total bloom. There was never a scandel @ Michigan (except when Mollar had his meltdown) in the years of the Bo dynasty. Martin is just as much to blame as Richie is, his keystone cops approach to hiring Richie was a total joke and a embarassement. Rodriguez has to step up to the plate and admit he screwed up and accept the blame where it lays, which he has not done. You can't keep blaming Carr for this mess, even in "07" after the debacles losing to Appy State and Oregon, Carr pulled that team together and went 9-4 and beat the Tebow and the Gators to finish the year in the top 20. Rodriguez can hardly win games unless you call the likes of the Irish, Eastern Michigan or can't forget Delaware St. as top compitition. This was a horribly bad fit and it will not improve. Michigan will get stomped again by the Buck-nuts and we will be exposed again to Richie's well worn out excuses why the game went bad. If it isn't working by now, it will probably keep right on not working. If it is broke, fix it! Since Martin is leaving, maybe Michigan will get a new AD that sees and reads the writing on the wall and deal with this mess and get it corrected (show RR the maize and blue door!). If the NCAA finds Richie guilty, then the obvious course of action is needed. Do the right thing and fire RR and get Michigan back to where it once was in College Football, a winning program with integrity!! Go Blue!

Michigan passed on Kelly, and look what they got! If Kelly can turn ND around (there is plenty of proof he is very capable in doing so) it would be a big feather in his coaching cap. This guy has won and when i lived in Michigan i followed his progress from GVSU to CMU. He knows what he is doing, to bad Michigan didn't hire this guy, just maybe they wouldn't have had horrific seasons back to back!
Posted Friday September 18, 2009, About: Notre Dame LB denies taunting Wolverines
This is getting a tad bit boring!!! Players are going to jaw at each other no matter what the NCAA does. It's the human factor, if the players want to act like chumps their choice. As long as the jawing doesn't led to punches or gets into racial slurs, let them yak away! You are not going to shut up players who feel the need to run off with the mouth, just ask the likes of T.O. and other players who had the moniker of the "greatest mouth that roared"!
Posted Monday September 14, 2009, About: Weis: Michigan officiating 'left a lot to be desired'
Wasn't this the same guy that last year made the remark that he didn't want to hear excuses from Michigan when he expected ND to beat the snot (yeah, i know they did) out of them? Well i quess we can say the same thing, sorry Charlie, no dice, look in the mirror and blame the face that is staring back at ya! For a ex-NFL coach he sure fell down on clock management and the last seris for ND not to mentuion some of the erractic play calling on the same seris! He blew the game, his players nor the officals were responsible. They say it ain't over till the fat lady sings, this case the fat man is singing (complaining and making excuses) so i quess now it's over! Got some advice Charlie, go back to the NFL, you seem to do a lot better in that arena! Go Blue!
Posted Thursday March 26, 2009, About: Michigan QB suffers significant injury
After what I seen last year, this is no major loss at all. This player is not even close in being a spread QB, period. This will open the door for Forcier to get more involved in the learning process and this will pay dividends in the upcoming season. Just hope they can keep the rest of their wide recievers from bugging out of Ann Arbor!
Posted Wednesday March 04, 2009, About: Forcier's teammate to join Wolverines?
Well, Tate will have his hands full this upcoming season. Maybe his partner back in Ca. will wait and see what happens to him before he makes his decision. There has to be a lot of unanswered questions about RR and his vision after last years debacle. 188 pounds? He will have to put on a few pounds to survive the beating he will take in college.
Posted Friday February 13, 2009, About: Woody Hayes' nude interviews?
You can tell it's the off season with "important" news articles like this one, guess you have to write about someting. I agree with the statement about Weis not reading this, instead of just clearing out the locker romm, Weiss would clear out a stadium in a heartbeat if he did a nude interview!
Posted Monday February 02, 2009, About: Ohio State athletics losing money
"Thee Ohio State U" losing money? What's this world coming too? Ole' Woody must be just a fuming in his grave!
Posted Wednesday January 28, 2009, About: T.O. to star in reality show
Damn, just when you thought it was safe to watch a little tube. Give TO a shot at a few words and he will give you for a novel! The mouth that launched a thousand complaints! This (tv program) should be a hoot!
Posted Tuesday January 06, 2009, About: Report: Lions interested in Jim Harbaugh
Taking the h/coach with the hapless lions is a "kiss of death" for anyone nuts enough to take it. Mr. "senile" ford is the problem, this owner with dementia should finally step aside and let Bill jr. take the reins. Until that happens the lions will be the losers we have come to expect!
Posted Monday December 22, 2008, About: Will Favre, Mangini return in '09??
I feel for the Jets fans but it could be worse, they could have the hapless Lions as their team! Now that is a sorry state of affairs for any fan to go through!
Posted Monday December 22, 2008, About: Giants coach linked to Army job
Ross came to Army after a stint with the hapless and now winless Detroit Lions. Hell that's enough of a experience to diminish any skills a coach would have left in him. Army needs a committed young coach with a solid plan to give this program a solid direction. Army has just seemed lost since the 90's, it can be once again a solid program with the right hire for coach.
Posted Tuesday December 16, 2008, About: Barkley pushed Auburn to hire Gill
I personally tought that Gill had a very good shot at this job, got fooled! I think that this guy's time spend at Auburn in the ealy 2000's had some thing to do with the hire. The College knew him and probably had a certain comfort level with him. Do I think it was the right hire? Who knows at this point in time. College ball has been a strange landscape lately and anything is possible. At least he can't do any worse than ole' Charlie up in S. Bend. Do feel for Gill, he needs a shot at a good college to coach at.
Posted Tuesday September 09, 2008, About: Weis' words on UM bulletin board
Weis is Weis, period. He (Weis) can say what ever before the game, dosen't matter. it's what comes out of his mouth after a loss is what I want to hear! Go Blue!
Posted Monday September 08, 2008, About: Changes coming at West Virginia
Really? I thought the "changes already took place? Announcing "changes" again after 2 games? WVU lost due to it having a "bad" game. Better now than later in the season. I believe there is going to be more of a transition involved than WVU believed earlier in the year. They will be fine, maybe they will incure a loss or two more than last year but they will enjoy a successful season never the less.
Posted Friday August 29, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
Weiss listening? Hold the presses, what a scoop! On second thought I thought god (Weiss) didn't need to talk with anyone! He seems like a egomaniac, nah, he just fat with a bloated head to match!
Posted Friday August 29, 2008, About: Can Spartans lure USC recruit?
This smacks like the circus that went on last year with Pryor. Once was enough!
Posted Tuesday August 26, 2008, About: Michigan to play two QBs
If the O-Line question isn't settled and the Defense doesn't live up this the billing they are receiving then it will not matter who starts at QB (except if his name is Houdini), they will be spending all their time in avoiding looking at the new construction of the Stadium from their back sides! Rich the Rod better pray the lessons from the debacle last season!
Posted Wednesday August 20, 2008, About: Pryor's unusual throwing motion
Time to step away from who or what will get to the nat'l. title game and back to Pryor. Way to early to know how this kid will do. May or may not be an other Troy Smith. Smith was a good college QB but has been quiet since he was drafted into the NFL. Pryor will probably be in the same mold with one difference, defense's have been catching up to the spread types of offensive's to be more effective. That will have a effect on Pryor's career at Buck-nut U. He will be required to be more of a passer than was expected of Smith. Old "vest" will use Pryor in various ways for a while until he gets a handle on what he has in Pryor.
Posted Wednesday August 20, 2008, About: QB decommits from Michigan
This is not news, it was rumored his family wanted him to stay closer to home anyway. No surprise, was waiting for this announcement a while now, got it, time to move on to other recruits. There seems to be no shortage at this time, An other QB prospect will emerge, RR's offensive scheme is to wide open for most dual threats not to consider.
Posted Saturday August 16, 2008, About: America's most powerful coach?
Something that has come up in converstions on Saban. If I remember right Saban utter something about one of the reasons he left Michigan State is that he was tired of fighting against Michigan's name recognition an so on. Is this a snap shot of a "all powerful" coach? He can coach but has never transition from a good coach to a great one. Saban is an enigma, even to himself.
