I applaud Mike Illitch for blowing off Bettman after the Wings game 7 loss. I have no problem with the Penguins winning the finals, but I did take exception in Bettman's openly rooting for them. When you are the commisoner you are supposed to be impartial. I'm surprised that the Wings fans only booed him!

I love how Sheff who has hit about .220 his last two seasons, and had a .170 batting average in spring training is telling teams that he needs a guarantee of "this much playing time" and "that many at bats" before he'll sign. He needs to look in the mirror and realize he should thank his lucky stars that somebody might give him a chance to hit his 500th home run!

Crosby has had his back-side kissed by Betteman and his crew for far too long. Ovie is the number one player in the league and Sindy (yes that's is what I meant) doesn't like it. I still think it's a travesty that Betteman and crew only promote Crosby and overlook players like Ignila, Datysuk, Zetterberg ect.

Also, if you watched last years finals, Pittsburgh was cleared out played on the ice, but you wouldn't have known it by the way the games were announced.
