I think the reason the Colts let Manning go was that he is 36 yrs old and the Colts needed to start getting younger. Plus it could be that some QBs that are good decide they want more money then the team wants to pay.

If Tebow was so good why didn't Denver keep him, I know they were going to sign Manning, but Tebow could have learned a lot from Manning as a back-up, Manning isn't going to play much longer...Also when Denver put him on the trading block only 2 teams inquired about him the "Circus" Jets and Jacksonville....Maybe Tebow should think about changing positions because he really isn't much of an NFL QB......

Yes, of course its a lock-out, that's how the sporting world does things, I don't think the owners are stopping the refs from working, they can go back to work at any time they agreed to a contract, that is a 50/50 deal. One side wants more money and one side doesn't want to pay that much. Both sides are at fault......

Illegal hits and helmet to helmet hits are not new to football, the replacement refs miss some things...just like the regular refs do, why do you think there are so many fines, players are pushing it with the replacement refs, buts that on the players....

As far as union busting, if they hadn't there would be no football and all the blogs would be about the regular greedy refs who work for the NFL 17 days a year....
