Posted Wednesday April 03, 2013, About: Chiefs may already have tabbed top choice
There may be a top QB, but that doesn't mean you take him in the first if he doesn't have a first round grade. If the demand on this mystery player is so low then there is a good chance he will be on the board in the second, possibly third rounds. So you pick up your left tackle and another piece and then take the long shot QB if you really want him. If no one else is going to pick him then you just can't beat yourself.
Posted Monday April 01, 2013, About: Aaron Rodgers changes offseason routine
Rodgers is the new Favre. He is generally accepted as the best player in the NFL and so he will grab a lot of headlines, necessary and unnecessary. He can't really do much about it, and the media are not going to change anything--so just get used to hearing about him a lot for the next 8 seasons at least.
Posted Sunday March 17, 2013, About: Brian Urlacher's Bears future still murky
Urlacher isn't a wimp, but he isn't that durable either--he often has physical problems that reduce his abilities, or keep him out all together. A bad back is also a big problem for a football player, and Urlacher's will only get worse.

He isn't worth anything to anyone but the Bears, and they will only take him for the absolute minimum because they know no other team will pay more. It's just a stalemate until Urlacher realizes no team wants him, then he'll tell the Bears he'll take whatever they offer or he'll retire. It's just part of the game, and you can bet you'll hear those very words from #54 come the appropriate time.
Posted Sunday March 17, 2013, About: Darrelle Revis reportedly would welcome trade to Miami
Wouldn't you always need TP? Do you wipe your ass with your hand when you don't eat fried chicken?
Posted Sunday March 10, 2013, About: Report: Redskins 'highly likely' to cut DeAngelo Hall
I don't watch the Skins a lot, but every time I have seen Hall play he has looked pretty good. He has to be better than a lot of other options (maybe not for the asking price, but still).
Posted Monday December 24, 2012, About: Brandon Jennings thought he and Rajon Rando would fight
Wow, the Laker, uh, fans? whatever people from LA call themselves--(sort-of-interested-watchers?) are really out in force now that their team masticates donkey genitalia.

You only get to talk **** when you're still GOOD--otherwise you are the punks.
Posted Sunday September 30, 2012, About: NFL unlikely to return to LA before 2014
Isn't Shad Khan putting massive amounts of money into the Jags to push them back into relevance? That doesn't mean it automatically works, but I don't think he is looking to move the Jags and has stated so publicly (which only goes as far as you trust him). A committed owner with money to spend doesn't spell relocation to me.
Posted Sunday August 19, 2012, About: Will new Vikings stadium have partially retractable roof?
Haha, MLS.

NFL practices draw bigger audiences.

That sounds like a good way to eff yourselves monetarily for the next 5-10 years.
Posted Friday August 03, 2012, About: Bears' Forte comes out ... grumpy
Forte will carry the team once again and the Bears will fall on their face as their o-line gets creamed yet again. Get those wheels ready, Cutler.
Posted Monday July 02, 2012, About: Reasons Denver may struggle
So what happens to the Broncos when Manning takes a hard sack and re-injures his neck and retires? It isn't inevitable, but certainly a strong possibility. Health doesn't mean he'll be protected against new injury--especially one he has already suffered numerous times.

Maybe someone will put a bounty on him--yuck, yuck, yuck.
Posted Friday June 01, 2012, About: Jones bluntly reminds Cowboys of ticking clocks
He'll croak before the 'Boys are even in the conference championship game again.
Posted Friday June 01, 2012, About: Endgame for Elway is owning the orange and blue
This wins.
Posted Sunday April 22, 2012, About: Goodell: No implied threats on Vikings move
They could easily move the new LA Vikings to the West and move the Rams to the North. Geographic sense, and Chicago and St. Louis already have a natural rivalry. Makes more sense than making the Vikings travel cross country for their division games.
Posted Sunday April 01, 2012, About: Change of heart for Parcells?
They have an us versus them mentality because they cheated and everyone is coming down on them for it. What are we supposed to do, just say. "Aw shucks, it's okay you broke the rules. Just go on ahead like nothing happened."?

Anything the Saints are dealing with was brought on by them--no one else. If they need someone to be mad at then maybe they should start looking for a mirror.

Take your crying somewhere else because no one is going to feel sorry for the Saints.
Posted Monday March 26, 2012, About: Flynn may not start for Seahawks
You are my hero.

So sick of the t@rds that do that, like they've accomplished something. There is something to be said for getting the first word in, but the first word should usually be more than a monosyllabic cry of one's lack of ability to have anything interesting to add to the conversation. What's worse is they typically then double post what they really thought about the article, so they would have been first anyway, but their juvenile desire to beat everyone in a race no one knows they are running. Congratulations for that.

Olive Garden isn't imitation Italian food--it's Italian food made in a chain restaurant. Just because it is a chain doesn't make it less Italian. I live near Chicago and have been to plenty real Italian restaurants and Olive Garden is not too far behind any of them. Italian food is really simple and anyone that doesn't think so is probably Italian. It's just like everyone will always claim their pizza spot is the best--even though most are painfully similar, and most mediocre. All I am saying is that going to an authentic Italian joint doesn't guarantee the food will be better than Olive Garden--at all. What I find funny about Olive Garden is that hillbillys think it is a fancy restaurant.
