Bears offense is on the upswing, their defense remains a question mark and hasn't greatly improved or come close to their old dominant defenses of the 80s and 90s.

The Bears haven't been that good on defense in a few seasons.

And while you need a defense to win most games, you don't need a dominant defense to win games or championships. Especially if the Packers' offense is as good or better than last year--a buttload of offense can offset a less than stellar D.
