but I am getting tired/aggravated of this BS.

note why i said tie.
not because I think JDS has same level of wrestling.
because I don't think it will be used.
so in this sense, there's no disadvantage to JDS!

are you serious, Yoda?
Do you think 4 minutes of being hit without being able to get out doesn't deserve a stoppage?

heh. it seems TD's are not about the topic, but about how much you like a person or the team the person talks about.

Thanks for the wake up call...

what does this has to do with lesnar?
if your only premise is that I hate Lesnar, then way to vote on the wrong topic.

And my point was to give carwin props for his fight against Lesnar. So basically, if you think lesnar should have beaten Carwinby merit (not because carwin gased), then you should have given the nod to me...

so basically you vote on hate.

woodee, woodee! Always hating AO.
First of all, don't try to make it sound as bad as you did.
AO lost to LHW when he was a LHW.
Second, he is a better striker than Cain. he is bigger and stronger.

You say about AO... but who exactly did Cain beat?If Lesnar is your best guy, then you know he is untested.

AO fought better guys and or longer. he got a better ground game, and is the better striker.

Don't buy into the UFC hype... and it's about time for you to stop dismissing guys just because they are not in UFC... because SF now is part of Zuffa, and as such, you will hear a completely different tune about those guys from Dana & UFC. ;)
They just need to do what they did in game 1.
Bulls got a better "team".
Miami got the better "individual talent", but they don't play "together".

now on what happens at the top, while I see DJ with good argument, left is really killing the TD.
One phrase attempt, agreeing with DJ.... he probably needs Yoda's blog on how to TD... :)

Not really.
Diaz TDD might be bad, but his long limbs goes a long way.
he is great on the ground, to the same level of Shields. And if GSP was affraid of taking Shields down, I guess he won't try that against Diaz neither.
Besides, Diaz's standup is better than GSP's IMO.

So It would be a tricky proposition for GSP.

But If I had to bet on anyone, i would on GSP. But I do think it will be a good matchup.

I must be getting too old... I even commented on it but did not recall... Outlaw, if you want to tie, just let me know.
I will argue this next (tonight), but my basic point for Fans is that any player (We are talking about the main player, the megastars) play to win.
but mainly, they play also to become the hero, the one who brought the championship to his town...
That HAS TO BE the fans! This is why I put it as #2... but I'll speak of it on my argument later :)
LOL, good point! :)
while I can see the argument, let's not forget we are talking about the megastars of the team. In that sense, most have huge ego, and if you take that in consideration, then they do yarn for the fans, to become their hero.

to them, it does matter!

And do not forget: someone with great fanbase gets more endorcements which equal more money in the end!
left could have put a better argument.
While fans frustration should be used to gauge team's success, the definition of what you call "had the best season" might be tricky.
If a team who was supposed to win it all gets in second place, it's a let down.
If a team that is supposed to be last gets to 3rd place, it's a huge accomplishment.
but if you ask me who had the best season, I would have to go with the 2nd place, even though for them it was a disappointment...
if you win rings, you get paid more.
If you play for a bigger market, you are more exposed, you get more endorcements

Money come with the 2 above, not the other way around.

Obviously if you can't play for a contender, money should be your next logical choice.
What I mean is that Money is only important if you can't get to a contender. then obviously money becomes the priority :)
I don't think Money is #1 (if you have options).
Most pro-athletes first want to go to a team that they can win with. THEN money.
I can't see how left is winning. his only real point is age. but that's hardly the full picture.

He takes no issue with the intangibles.
I mean, KG might be old, but he is the reason everyone in Boston plays D with intensity. If you don't take that into consideration, you are severely skewed in your analisys.

Good luck, J!
If I don't get to this tonight, I will tomorrow night after work!
