It's not that they're cheap-asses. They spend plenty of money. But with guys like Matthews, Raji and the most important - Rodgers coming up, how do you justify spending $10M + on a WR when you have a lot of them and technically, he might be their 2nd best right now. Nelson only makes about $4M. Jones isn't as good as Jennings, but he's decent. So, if Jennings wants $12M/yr - take that and spread it out among the other 3 guys. It's not being cheap, it's being smart. Jennings isn't getting younger and he's had some injury issues the past 2 years.

Has nothing to do with not having money. They have plenty. It has to do with TTs philosophy. Jenkins wasn't the missing link. Stick-um was. Our receivers/TEs played like crap in our 2 losses. TTs philosophy has worked pretty well so far, so I trust the guy.
