I happen to think Collins is a very good coach. He made Jrue and Thad into better players than they were. I think Turner is a mental case. The other 2 positions have limited talent. As a player personnel guy, he was horrible. Obivously, they did not do the job in evaluating Bynum's medical condition. However, Bynum's attitude and wackiness were very well known. People don't change their personality and the 76ers should have known better. Their only route to success is consecutive seasons of 20 wins.

We are getting used to bad teams in Philly so it is just another team. Flyers are bad ("let's get another tough guy"- thanks Homer), Phillies are awful("let's spend more money on aging veterans"- thanks Rube), 76ers are unwatchable ("let's trade lots of players and draft picks for a guy with bum knees and bum attitude"- thanks Tony), and the Eagles could possibly be the worst team in the NFL ("let's pass the ball 100% of the time and not draft well"- thanks Andy).

Philly is a horrible team with an awful future- with or without Bynum. I know the team well- live in the Philly area. Went to the game Saturday night and still cannot figure out how Golden State managed to lose to them.

Why do commenters write paragraphs? Make your point and move on. As far as the NHL strike goes, I feel sorry (actually, I don't) for anyone that can't deal with a cancelled season. Been there...done that...survived. When the owners and players figure it out, let me know. Until then, read a book.
