Posted Monday October 05, 2009, About: Crosby's last season in Oakland
It was easy to see that because he was so far off the plate, he couldn't cover the outside corner if his life depended on it. Everybody got him out there, except the fools that tried pitching him inside. I suspect that he felt if he moved inside, he couldn't hit the inside fastball. Even my wife, who occasionally watches baseball saw the strategy of opposing pitchers constantly working him outside. We just sat there time after time watching him strike out or try to pull the outside pitch. Don't they have a hitting coach in Oakland?
Posted Wednesday July 22, 2009, About: Uncomfortable truth behind Winslow's infection
Sounds like malpractice to me, why are they draining his balls and not the leg that was infected. I wouldn't get with in 100 miles of the Browns team Drs. Maybe they did drain the leg, the middle one that is.
Posted Wednesday June 17, 2009, About: Why NBA won't hire Laimbeer
Wish the Kings would have made him their coach. Petrie fired Adelman because he bowed to the fans desire for defense. He then hires folks whom have no concept of defense including Westphal. Conclusion-he and the Maloofs want to lose so they can get to their Nirvana-Las Vegas. We're screwed in Sac.
Posted Friday May 22, 2009, About: Rubio dissing Memphis & OKC?
Rubio will be eaten alive by NBA point guards. Not to mention, the guy does not even have a jump shot.He will need to be on a team with a great center that will force defenses in and allow him the kick back set shot. Also, the center aka Dwight Howard vintage, will have to make up for his slowness on defense. Don't trade for him Petrie!!!Get Theabet if he's still around, trade Hawes, and with that trade and the second pick in the first round get a legit point guard.
Posted Monday May 18, 2009, About: Knicks prefer Rubio over Griffin
Do you have any doubts that Nate Robinson couldn't block his shot, I mean if he decided to play defense?
Posted Monday May 18, 2009, About: Knicks prefer Rubio over Griffin
"Rubio is 6'4" how is he gonna have trouble getting his shot off against NBA PGs who are on avg about 6'2"" . They have over 34 inch vertical jump ability, and will easily block his shot. Jason Kidd is 6'4" and he for one would give that kid his lunch defensively. I'll give it to Rubio, he thinks pass first and shot second. However, I still think he's to slow for point guard and not strong enough for shooting guard. You're going to be hearing him shout for help a lot, so whom ever drafts him better have a center like Dwight Howard. Also, he better have a good plastic surgeon to take "Wilson" of his forehead.
Posted Monday May 18, 2009, About: Knicks prefer Rubio over Griffin
Comparing Rubio to Maravich is a travesty. First of all, Maravich had a true jump shoot. Rubio is into the set shot thing AKA Brett Barry. At least Barry can jump out out of the gym. I think NBA point guards are going to blow right by him. Since he does not have a true jump shot, I think he's going to have a hard time getting it up without it being blocked. Not sure Blake Edwards should go #1 but its an easy choice to pick him over Rubio.
Posted Monday May 18, 2009, About: Kings leaning toward Griffin
Kings should select Thabeet and trade Hawes. Hard to find agile guys>7', as witnessed by Hawes. The guy couldn't get off the ground with rockets attached to his butt.Thompson has shown he can be a good power forward in the league, especially after he matures a little more. However, the Maloof's are set in getting the Kings out of Sac and to Vegas, so likely they will sabotage this pick as well and sign a mediocre coach as well.
Posted Tuesday May 12, 2009, About: Kings, 76ers competing for Jordan
Just as other folks have said, the Maloofs have no intention of winning until they get to Vegas. Right now they are in an active process of pissing off the fans with their choice of players and coaches. Really Spencer Hawes a first round pick. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted Wednesday March 18, 2009, About: Al Davis wants to embarrass Kiffin
Go get him Kiffin. Time for Al to take one for the Raiders and get the hell out of Dodge, I mean Oakland.
Posted Monday January 26, 2009, About: Kings-Heat trade brewing?
As bad as Brad Miller is his backup Spencer Hawes is much worse. At least Miller can shoot the ball. Hawes has lead in his pants and learned his shooting at the brick layers academy. If the Kings are bad now, they will be much worse after trade. Although it fits my suspicion that the Maloof's are angling to move the team to Las Vegas. I can see it now, attendance down, no new stadium, Woopieeeeee Vegas here we come.
Posted Saturday January 10, 2009, About: Knicks taking Lee off market?
"I like David Lee,but being realistic he is just a blue collar player at best ". No that be Brat Miller of the Kings. You want to see "no defense" definition, check Miller out. Plus, he doesn't rebound and he's a choker in the clutch. Davis Lee, the Kings would take him in a heart beat!
Posted Tuesday October 28, 2008, About: Kiffin interested in Huskies job
I agree with the above post. He really got a bum deal at Oakland. His big mistake was to think he ever had any control over the team. This should not be a problem in Washington where he would be the man! Love to see him suceed and put Al Davis in the grave where he belongs.
Posted Monday October 27, 2008, About: Why Singletary benched Davis
"Good for him, but in this "Athlete is always right" NFL world today, I hope this doesn't back fire on him".

Like what happened to Art Shell when he called Jerry Porter a punk. Hall of Famer vs. Punk and the Punk won! It's all about marketing these days and nothing about sportsmanship!
Posted Wednesday September 17, 2008, About: Maverick caught disrespecting anthem
This black vs. white crap is really pathetic. Talk about a bunch of morons. As far as I know we all have to take a crap. Really, when you think of all of those black and white men whom have died in wars to preserve our freedom, they must be doing flips in their graves saying " and I sacrificed for these morons"? Really, what we need is a bunch of little green men to take the heat of our racism. Let's not lose sight of the big picture that we are all human and are destined to sink together unless we get our act together.
Posted Wednesday August 13, 2008, About: Who's leading 49ers QB race?
O'Sullivan was a bone head while at UC Davis. Frat boy that could not keep out of trouble. However, he was a gutsy kid and in no way a pansy. However, Martz knows QB's, and if he is playing O'Sullivan, you really have to wonder about the future of Smith, Hill, Nolan, and the 49ers.
Posted Monday July 28, 2008, About: Knicks, Nuggets discussing deal
Another coach who believes a strong offense is some how defense. Nellie, Adelman, Carl etc. Always the tease, but they never deliver a title. That's because we all know that in order to win the big cheese, you just got to play tough nose defense. Knicks will be bottom feeders fro some time to come.
Posted Monday June 09, 2008, About: Artest may wind up a Knick
When the Knicks signed D'Antoni they gave up all hope for any defense. Hence, Ron would not make a good fit there. We like him in Sac and he has proven to be a good team player. Now if Theus would coach the team rather than let Artest do it, we might get some where.

PS. Can we all agree that between Canseco and Clemens, humanity has taken a huge dip.

I want to see Canseco and McQuire face up. Roid vs. Roid. Under card with a growth hormone angle--- Roger Clemens vs Brian McNamee
