SA, Houston and Arlington are all about 200 miles apart. NYC and DC are about that far. Between NY, Philly, Baltimore, DC there are 5 teams - 3 of then in the NL East. Of course this area is much more densely populated, but I still would think of San Antonio as separate metropolitan area than Houston and Arlington Metropolitan rankings

If DC could add a team with those areas around I think San Antonio could support a team with the areas is has around it
Don't forget that Austin, TX is just 60 Miles north of San Antonio and they can tap into that fan base also....People in the area are always traveling back and forth between the two cities...
