lol! I was thinking the same thing, but I'm so sure she meant the best CHEERLEADING team in the NFL.......but what's the ranking system there?

Once again, David Stern is to blame for this. If the age restrictions didn't exist in the NBA, guys who never had intentions on going to college after high school would just jump right to the league. The age restriction hasn't helped the NBA in a single way, but it's damaging the college game severely. It would make more sense to impose a rule that only allows for sophomores and up to go pro, else anyone could make the leap straight from high school, regardless of age. Also, I guess I just don't get it. Why demonize people who want to get paid for their talents? You rarely ever hear about anyone rigging college game (think the plot of Blue Chips), so to attempt to prevent anyone, other than the hypocritical NCAA, from cashing in on the talents of athletes is a foolish pursuit. Destroy the atmosphere of people sneaking around doing things, and allow schools to pursue student-athletes with money and everything else at their disposal. There are plenty of endowed colleges that have terrible sports programs, so there is no advantage for the household names like Ohio State, UNC, Alabama, et. Al. This ridiculous notion that the amateur status of college sports is somehow solemn or noble is a farce. It's been about money since the first TV deal was signed. Why is always all right for someone up high to get wealthy, but not the people who are actually producing the product?

Unless you just felt like stating the obvious, of course the athletes will be punished. And don't get so high minded off the rules, because the rule makers are making billions of college kids but trying to ruin schools and careers if the kid gets a free chicken sandwich.
Posted Tuesday February 05, 2013, About: Dana White: Rashad Evans 'lost that hunger'
He's not lying. Evans and Rampage both seem nothing like the guys there were just a few years back when they were opposing coaches on TUF! Even though Evans appeared to be surging then and Jackson was already a shell of his former Pride self, both still appeared to have plenty in the tank. I'm upset to watch either of them fight now.
Posted Tuesday February 05, 2013, About: Flacco heading toward $100M payday
What is mystifying to me is how fans of the game, much less the commentators and the like, can question effort, knowing full well that a misstep here or there can make all the difference. Joe Flacco is talented and after 5 seasons, it's time to stop questioning his ability. How many times has he missed the postseason? How many postseason wins does he have? Inconsistency in the regular season, if you can even call it that, means nothing in the postseason. By that logic, VCU's Final Four appearance a few years back should be invalidated because they didn't knock off enough top ranked schools. Let's do this: let's start congratulating people who win, and let's agree that, regardless of the length or dollar amount of his future contract, he gets paid to win in the NFL and he has done so consistently for five years.

What? Facts? They don't need facts! """Freedom of speech and blah blah blah! I can say what I want cause it's a free country!!! I'se don't need no eja-kashun!!!! We say Ray's guilty so, by the Pythagorean Theorem, he's guilty!!!!""""" We love you, Ray Lewis!!!! Go Ravens!!!

I will give you access to my bank account TODAY if you show me where you, a nobody, found proof he killed anyone, where detectives and judges found none.

They would if they had integrity.......SI went down a few notches with me for "breaking" this "story"......
Posted Saturday February 02, 2013, About: S.W.A.T.S. owner apologizes to Ray Lewis
And the internet continues to house idiots! How is that when people are released, acquitted or exonerated, the system 'got it wrong', but when they are convicted, the system is right? The Ravens have been good pretty much most of the past decade.....what, were you judgemental types holed up at Republican Summer Camp? Get over it! Ray Lewis is who he is; you hating on him is not going to change anything!!! If you had your way, my kind would still be, unapologetically, treated like 2nd class citizens. It's ironic, the Patriots cheated but no one ever talks about that.
Posted Saturday February 02, 2013, About: Victor Cruz hasn't ruled out a Giants holdout
I love how, even in 2013, this is still even an issue! CLEARLY the most potent weapon they have on either side of the ball not named Eli! Run that money New York, or ship him to Dallas or Carolina; it'd please me in either state!
Posted Tuesday January 22, 2013, About: Welker's wife issues Ray Lewis an apology
I'm consistently amazed by the hypocrisy of people. Ray Lewis said nothing negative about Welker, his family or the Patriots in general. Yet, the wife of a losing player, decides to go on Facebook and vent misinformation for what? Then, the apology is released through some third party? How about you return back to your Facebook page and admit that you had a lapse in judgement? This is just another valid reason for people to root against New England. Furthermore, for her and people like her that thinks the Black athlete deserved prison from a crime of which he was acquitted, why do you always think people accused of crimes are guilty? Why do you all get off on play judge, jury and executioner? When things happen to you, you want mercy, but the rules don't apply to others? Or just rich, famous people? Or is there some other nefarious reason? The legal system is fine as long as everyone ever tried for a crime is guilty, but no hope for the innocent? Check yourselves, you are a den of vipers, and the Interwebs is your rotting carcass of a home.
Posted Monday January 21, 2013, About: Suggs blasts 'arrogant [expletive]' Pats
It's funny how you dudes are again trying to diss someone instead of realizing the truth of what he's saying. In what world is Suggs a punk? Why is it when a man speaks his mind, you throw him under the bus, but then scream "People need to be more honest"? Hypocrisy and cynicism at its finest! Anywho, he was spot on correct, and echoes my recent Facebook posts. IT's funny, of you who disagreed with Suggs and/or tried to call him a punk (where do you get the b.a.ll.s to do that), how many of you have that same animosity to Bill Bel-a-chick and snubbing post game interviews? Exactly.
Posted Friday December 21, 2012, About: Jets explore parting with both Tebow and Sanchez
That's my main beef. I can see if he played and sucked, but he's no worse than all these other also rans who got better contracts only to suck up the scene: Flynn, Kolb, Cassel, et. Al. Tebow's gotten a raw deal, and it's funny, it's not because of anything HE did! There is no evil comment they can tie to him, and frustrating as his play is to some, he's a winner on the field. People just don't like him because of him.....wish more people would just admit they don't like the man and use his so-called "lack of mechanics" as the excuse.
Posted Friday December 21, 2012, About: Faried's Blazers grudge: 'I don't like them'
IT's Portland's loss.
Posted Wednesday December 19, 2012, About: Tebow will ask to be moved
How is it consistently ignorned that he has a winning record as a QB, and has a playoff win to his credit? New England was on fire going into that game, but had it been anyone else, I'm thinking Denver could've pulled out the win. If Tebow had tons of INTs (the tons of fumbles is because the guy clearly loves to run and isn't scared of being hit) I would understand the hate more. But he won in Denver when their season was DEAD IN THE WATER when he took over! I wish that the league and the fanboys could get off this teet of wanting the protoypical QB! This must be why Delhomme, Kolb and Orton have so many games played to their credit: is doesn't matter if you're any good at QB, just as long as you look and act the part.
Posted Wednesday November 21, 2012, About: Rivers: 'No idea' what record Rondo's chasing
1) I'm surprised I'm just now hearing about the streak. 2) I hope this can FINALLY put to bed the smack talk on Rondo not being an elite point guard. You may not like Boston, but clearly this man is one of the top guards in the league today.
Posted Monday October 29, 2012, About: At long last, Tebow time?
Guess I'm still trying to figure how you sports gurus consider Tebow terrible? Every QB isn't going to be that ideal prototype. The guy won the needed games last year and took the team into the playoffs, with his so-called "bad" throwing style. They still won! Yet you continue to write him off! I'm rooting AGAINST the Broncos for cutting him loose, and rooting for the Jets as long as he's in uniform. Could care less if he never throws another ball; all the hatred is just unnecessary and unwarranted. He himself has asked for none of the hype; you jerks know how media bandwagons go, why ride Tebow? He's just being himself.
Posted Monday October 29, 2012, About: Jerry Jones: I can take more risks as Cowboys GM and owner
He has one of the most expensive franchises in the world! I can't believe I didn't realize sooner: he could care less if the Cowboys win! They'll be popular no matter what: die hard fans and die hard haters! He's now probably the most disliked owner in sports; with Michael Jordan a razor thin close 2nd.
Posted Friday October 12, 2012, About: Howard's injury more severe than reported
Had a co-worker miss almost six months. She told me she was in so much pain, she couldn't bare to walk for days at a time. I think people are missing the point here: he didn't sprain an ankle, he had a severe injury. Which had to be magnified based on his mass (more mass, more pressure on the wound).

tHAT'S weird because I heard he's slated to start at QB at Ohio State in a wildcat type scenario!
Posted Tuesday October 02, 2012, About: Rondo's attitude costing MVP votes?
Yeah, I agree with most of yall. And I don't at all feel like one's attitude, and especially not their relationship with the media, should have any impact on any sports award that doesn't begin with "Sportmanship" or "Citizenship". I have longed loathed this idea that a "deserving" sports champion player or team, or individual award, has to be one by the "cleanest cut" or "nicest" player. It's a bunch of crap. Recognize talent and let that be that! If we don't like his attitude we just won't watch him or buy his gear, but if he is talented, and has earned it on the field/court/diamond/ice/et. Al, let his accolades stack up.
