It's amazing how they try to link everything to steroid use. It's not! I had the exact same surgery that A-Rod had and can relate to this. He had a hip impingement. This is a bone spur that has developed on the ball joint that has torn the ligament. If it happens on one hip, almost always is on the other hip. I had my surgery 8 months ago and still not up to par. Bone spur and the labrum are not related to steroid use.
