It wasn't so long ago the Oregon Agriculture School was a serious challenge, fuskies on the other hand haven't beat UO on the gridiron for close to a decade. The rivalry got particularly heated in the early '90's when UW had a very good team and those fans took every chance to rub our bills in it...then the tables turned and Oregon fans are returning the favor and them damn fuskies just don't like it. But I have heard if you're a duck fan in Seattle sporting your colors, you won't hear much of a peep on the street. IMO there's not alot of sports fans in Seattle..lol

I guess I've always looked at the rivalry as more of a fun instate rivalry, if you live in Oregon for any amount of time you will have friends or coworkers who are Ducks or Beavers. If you ask most Oregon fans nowadays, they will tell you the huskies are the biggest rivals..there is a bit of hate between fanbases. That being said Civil War games are the most fun hands down, the War for the Roses a few years back being #1 on my list.

I thought I figured you for an orange and black follower...no harm, I typically rout for the Beavs if they're not playing UO. I think it would be damn cool if both got national seeds in baseball playoffs.

I've always given USC props for not scheduling FCS..and I would rather see the PAC teams play the PAC "cellar dwellars" than an FCS team even if the meeting is helping an instate FCS athletic program.

I understand your point, and Oregon was scheduled to play different OOC games. (although the original schedule wasn't a heck of alot stronger) Original OOC schedule was KSU, UNM, Montana St. Instead played Arky St., Fresno St., Tenn. Tech. Typically Oregon plays a BCS, a lower D1 and a FCS.
