He is not a scrub he's a top 35 player according to Rivals.com and their Rivals 150 for 2009. This would be a big sign for the gophers, he would look great next to top 20 player Royce White!

i totally agree drj. what's so bad about bringing this guy in? he'll be super cheap and he is high reward. he would be the fourth receiver behind wade, rice, and berrian. We all saw him in college at MSU and the extreme talent he possesses.

I'm the biggest Twins fan I know and I have followed these trade talks extremely closely. At this point with the Yankees offer off the table I feel that this was probably the best offer they could have got. They like Gomez, and the thought of having Humber as a back end starter this year was very significant. Guerra and Mulvey are good prospects especially Guerra who is only 18 years old and has sick skills. I am not overwhelmed by Lesters talent. I feel that he is a back end starter and similar in skill to Humber. Crisp is ****, and I would never take him. Ellsbury I liked during the postseason, however the TWINS needed a back end starter for this year and that is ultimately why I feel they chose the Mets deal.

Bill Smith did as good as he could at this point. I wish Johan the best and hope he gets his money and a ring!
