I would love it if the SEC stopped talking to Mizzou and started talking to WVU instead. It makes so much more sense geographically and it opens up the Virginia TV area.
This is all true, but 2008 was the year and it didn't happen. Then again, 2008 did see 3 losses to 3 teams that put up 40+ points against Martinez. Maybe I'm leaning more towards what you were saying with Bobo going back to QB's coach.
Yeah, I really would love to keep Richt around. I just got a little carried away. I suppose my main point is that the dawgs are in a bad spot and something needs to change for the better.
1-9 against last 10 ranked opponents 14-14 since the start of 2009 overall 7-10 against last 17 SEC 2-8 against UF all-time loss to UCF in a bowl Average top 10 recruiting and 1 top 10 finish in last 5 years?
Yeah, I see what you're saying. Like GatorRobster said, fan bases are different nowadays. There's so many people clamoring for Richt's head that it won't matter whether there is a suitable replacement.
I honestly couldn't say what the best avenue would be. UGA has looked sloppy despite recruiting well, so that's probably bad coaching that goes all the way to Richt. Also though, Richt didn't start his downward spiral until after Callaway and Van Gorder left, so Bobo might not be a great O-coordinator. I don't know.
Adams means:'Have patience until the Florida game.' That will be the ultimate decider, especially if Richt loses to anyone else on the schedule. Richt is probably gone after the regular season any which way.
" Georgia fans, among the most mild and merciful in the South when it comes to expectations (the program's last national title came in 1980) and demands on the head man, are slowly getting disgusted and running razor thin on patience." -Paul Finebaum, SI.com
Some of you guys are funny, Richt is very deserving of the hot seat (not just because of Boise but because of his body of work over the past 3-5 years). When you have the resources of Richt, better production should happen. Bobo could be the problem, but it's far too late to get rid of just Bobo as a means of self-correction. 2005 seems like a distant memory after all the penalties and poor play.
Kirby Smart Gary Patterson Chris Peterson Stealing Muschamp from the Gators would be nice, but almost assuredly not gonna happen. Gus Malzhan Jon Gruden
I'm just throwing some names out there, but Smart is probably whom Georgia would go after the most. The problem would be finding very good coordinators. UGA could keep Grantham around based on this season's performance too.
Actually, Russ is the interim mascot right now. The Silers, family that raises and takes care of the Uga line, have to get the next pure white Uga acclimated to crowd noise before revealing the new Uga VIII.

I don't envy McGarity right now.

In 2007, defense was UF's main problem.
