I think there is still about a $40 to $50 million total salary differential between the Spankees and the Angels. You could buy almost all of the Padres for that amount of money!

They won the Series in 1992 & 1993 and tend to do better each year than Baltimore in the very tough AL East. Toronto is a lot closer to Western New York than the Yankees or Boston, so think of them as the Buffalo Blue Jays. If you want to contract a team, how about the Marlins? Or at least their owner who has a fire sale every season.
