So, wait. People are actually going to go back to watching this ****? "Thank You Fans" is enough for nitwits to keep funding this drivel?

Sigh.

In other news, I've got these bridges. Who's buying?

Posted Friday September 07, 2012, About: Source: Some teams better off not playing
Just caught an article in Arizona Republic about the Coyotes hosting an open house/ticket sale. Is this normal for teams to do? I've never read about this in Philadelphia or NJ, and the only publicized ticket sale I can recall (in NHL circles anyway) is last year in Atlanta. Something just strikes me odd about everything going on and the correlation between lockout and the Phoenix situation.

Ha...one commercial break is longer than time devoted to hockey on SC.

To clarify, I don't buy cable and won't go out of my way to watch a game on TV. Maybe if I'm out at a bar and a game happens to be on, I'll steal a glimpse (ok, probably a lot of glimpses).

But I found getting along without the NHL came rather simple in 04-05, and it took a few years for me to even start following again. Forgiveness may be divine, but until someone on the NHL's side starts apologizing to us, I'm done.

I said it another thread, but the NHL has lost me - I will never pay another dime to these people.

My first game was an exhibition match between the Devils and the Russian Dynamo team in the 90-91 season, and 22 years in this abusive relationship is more than enough.

There's plenty of college and minor league action in the Northeast, and if I do move to Oregon I'm super stoked to check out the WHL.

So, who really will go back to this abusive relationship?

I'm pretty much resigned to never showing my face at an NHL game ever again. There's plenty of minor league and college action in the Northeast.

It's sad, but they're not kicking this gift horse in the mouth anymore.
Posted Tuesday August 28, 2012, About: NFL in L.A. no sure thing ... yet
So, let's review:

- L.A. had football teams
- L.A. no longer has football teams
- L.A. would like a football team
- L.A. doesn't have a football team yet

Mindblowing stuff.
