I must be missing something here... NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr addressed the media following today's meeting, saying that the league's current offer was to reduce player's salary by 12.3 per cent and said players don't consider it fair. Isn't 57% (what the players were getting) minus 50% (what the owners are currently offering = 7%. I guess Donald Fehr went to Law School cause he couldn't do the math to be an accountant.

The Wings get included in this lame post cause they signed Abdelkader to 1.8M and Coliacovo to 2.5? They have 25 players signed and are still almost 10M below the cap, definitely not what I would call irresponsible signings on their part.
