This is honestly like taking a member of the tea party (10% of the population) and someone from the far left (10% of the population) and trying to get them to agree to something. Neither side can see the reality that is looking both of them straight in the face that the other 80% of can see because they are both so intrenched in their own self-righteousness. Neither side can see past their own noses and they cannot communicate together because they don't even speak the same language. Honestly, if you could get the owners and the players out of the way and let a few educated fans (not just about hockey educated) and a few economic experts together they could hash out a deal that is better than anything these clowns will come up with and we could have had it done and ready to sign the day after the Kings won the cup.
