Not if it creates unfair economic competition. Why do all leagues except baseball have salary cap? To create fair competition. Look at Miami Heat, they didn't buy championships, they understood it requires sacrifice money wise to win a championship and did it. I will never respect the Yankees. Even in the 1960's they took advantage of the KC teams by dumping declining players to them and getting new players. That was before Royals was established.
