I think everyone forgets how we got where we are now! Does anyone remember what the owners did with their expansion fees? They started a bidding war for players thus making their payroll cost grow exponentially. No one put a gun to the owbers heads and stuck them up. These idiot owners commited financial suicide. Now they are blaming the players for their stupidity. Who suffers at the end of the day? Us, the fans that is who. One more thing getting rid of Bettman ( in my opinion he is a complete waste of skin along with his fat boy assistant)
