Also not necessarily looking for a CF. Desmond Jenning played exclusivly in CF in the minors and only moved because BJ was established and that good in CF. Joyce can play either corner, so the Rays just need an OF of any kind. More than anything, the Rays NEED a hitting coach. Shelton is an absolute joke already. Not one player under him has ever gotten better than when he arrived. Rays need an OF, 1B, middle IF, DH. No one really knows where they're going to play Zobrist (Maddon included) which could change things as far as needs go.

They're not looking for a defensive catcher, as Molina just led the pitching staff to record numbers and we also have two young catchers who he tutored and got some games in. Molina's $# fits well with-in the Rays plans. Shields isn't going anywhere for less than a Garza haul. He makes 23mm next two years. Very affordable for just about every team and he was a top 5 guy in the AL after the break. The guy has thrown over 200 innnings I think 6 years in a row now.
