Mets need to keep Dickey. He wants only 2 or 3 yr. Contract. He won'thinder 2015 budget for team.
Mets were very competitive in first half of 2012.
With Bay, Torres, R. Ramirez and Acosta gone Mets are better by subtraction.
Austin Kearns and or Ryan Ludwick give team decent OF.
A hard throwing reliever and a power righthand hitting C and you have a team that will vie for wildcard.
Marlins are a disaster, phillies are old, and Nats may be a fluke.
Dickey at worst will be a good P in 2013.
Niese and or Gee can get the much needed C, and are more easily replaceable than a CY YOUNG winner.
Gee for saltamacchia is the way to go.
If Duda and Niese gets Will Myers from Royals that would be best.

If not use Niese for top flight C and a good reliever.
