Oops,, Bulls will be there too ! Actually, Bulls may win the East ! Huge dropoff after those 5 teams......with the Nets and Wizards next in line.
Posted Saturday October 27, 2007, About: Sources: Cavaliers looking to deal
No talent on this team that anybody would want, other than Z, and there's no way they let him go. Lebron will work with the same cast as last year, but with an improved Daniel Gibson, and they will be near the top of the East again. Worked last year. Only the Celtics/Pistons/Heat offer any real challenge in the talent lacking Eastern Conference.

The recruits Callahan has are for his system......a system Nebraska will be ending after this season.

Oh, almost forgot, FIRE CALLAHAN !
Posted Saturday October 27, 2007, About: Amare returns healthy, strong
Jay, EVERY player in the league has photos like that. You're going to have to search a bit to find one of Popovich crying. You could find one of DAntoni just about every night on every call. Players always cry, but again, I've NEVER seen a COACH cry as much as your guy. Great coach, I think he is, but he is an alltimer for crying about calls.

Define the following: Desperation. "Anybody seeking to coach or become GM of the Miami Dolphins". Desperation.
Posted Friday October 26, 2007, About: Ex-Husker star rips fired AD
I screamed 2 months ago to fire Pederson, and I've been begging just as long to fire Callahan. If you are not from Nebraska, I'm sorry, but you will NEVER understand what Crouch is talking about. I lived there during high school and college, and that state loves the Huskers as much as life itself. Pederson and Callahan have done more damage in 4 short years than most people could do in a lifetime. Criticize Nebraska all you want, but their former program worked......check out the multiple National titles. Even more so than that, they were always competitive, always. Now, they are a check mark for a win on almost everybody's schedule.
Last, Crouch is a class act all the way. He didn't cut it in the pro's, but that would be true of 95% of all players drafted. Duh.
Posted Friday October 26, 2007, About: Bobcats lose another star for season
Role players cannot be stars in the league. This guy will NEVER be a "star".....no defense, slow feet, and prone to crying if he gets his feelings hurt. Role Player.

Posted Friday October 26, 2007, About: Amare returns healthy, strong
Noam, totally agree with your Amare take. He's a stud, but I do think he's a true power forward and not a center. Before the injury, he was dominating EVERYONE. Even after the injury, he is still a great player.

D'Antonio IS a super coach, and he has brought back a fun to watch and effective style of hoops back to the NBA. My problem with him is his antics to the refs on every single call made in a game, regular season or playoffs, against ANY team. I have never seen a guy complain so much....well, at least not since Elvin Hayes was in the low blocks for the Bullets decades ago. The Big EEEEEEEE !!!!

The Twolves are looking at a 12 and 70 type of year. OUCH !
Posted Friday October 26, 2007, About: Callahan's future concerns recruit
Based on the recruits Callahan has brought in so far, I'm not so sure losing the ones he has is such a bad idea. FIRE CALLAHAN !
Posted Thursday October 25, 2007, About: Amare returns healthy, strong
One last note. I LOVE Amare ! He will only get better, but they need to play him at power forward and quit making him guard centers. Dumping Thomas will hurt Phoenix in the playoffs this year, no doubt in my mind, as Amare is foul prone. Nash is an alltime great, but DAntoni has turned him into a crier and excuse maker. What a shame ! I cannot recall any coach in league history that cries more than DAntoni. Not a one. And the team eventually reflects the character of their coach.

"Duncan is on the decline because his hand speed is slower".....ROFL !! That's a new one. Maybe you should put Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili's scoring averages beside Duncan's....oops, don't want to do that, it would show you have no clue what you are talking about. GM survey, released today, shows Duncan being predicted to finish 2nd in MVP voting after this year. Yeah, he's ready for the rocker. Houston IS a tough matchup for SA, but the Rockets are ALWAYS one of the most injury plaqued teams in the league. As for Phoenix, we DREAM every day of ruining yet another season for their crying fans and crying coach. I love the NBA !

Unbelievably bad move by the TWolves. The Heat get Ricky Davis and Mark Blount and give up ........nothing ? (well, they gave up out of shape and washed up Antoine Walker, a conditional draft pick and Simien who is always in street clothes). I'll say this much. McHale is making sure from the start next year's number 1 pick is his. If I'm a TWolve season ticket holder, I'm suing for a refund.

Posted Monday October 22, 2007, About: Callahan's job in Osborne's hands
Alfred, its genious thinking like yours that brought Calahan's west coast offense to Nebraska to replace the old 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense. Let's check out the results of that move after 4 years, shall we ? Let's see......worst team in the history of the school...check. Offense that turns the ball over at will via the interception....check. No time of possession using the West Coast passing offense.....check. Defense exhausted from being on the field all game and with little talent....check.
Great argument Alfred.

Hllywd nailed it. This guy is a SCRUB in the NBA. Yes, he flops and screams and works hard and plays pretty good D yadda yadda yadda, but he couldn't throw it in the ocean from a helicopter. And the money he's asking for ? Outrageous ! He is a ROLE player people.
Posted Monday October 22, 2007, About: Suns coach laughs at Kobe rumors
Phoenix already has all the pieces in place to win it all except for one, and it's the same piece they've been missing. A big man who can play "D" and neutralize somebody like Duncan. Amare is truly a power forward, not a center, and Duncan proves that every time they are matched up. If Phoenix got somebody like Ben Wallace in the post and moved Amare over, it would be just that, over. Kobe is in my view the most dominant player in the league, but he can't in any fashion help where Phoenix needs it most, and that is in the low blocks on D. Meanwhile, they are wasting away the last years of one of the alltime great players in NBA history in Nash....even if he is a crier.
Posted Sunday October 21, 2007, About: Does Marbury fit Knicks' game?
No team on earth would be willing to take on Starbury's $20 million contract. The Knicks would have to be willing to eat a ton of that one before anybody would touch him. Agree that he is indeed a 2 guard playing out of position. But he is also the Websters picture boy for the word "inconsistent".

Are you kidding me ? Pack up and head back overseas, scrub.
