Stupid article, stupid thesis. No tricks will be needed against the worst Nebraska team in decades on Saturday. If Texas gets off the bus, they win.

Fire Calahan !

Unbelievably bad move by the TWolves. The Heat get Ricky Davis and Mark Blount and give up ........nothing ? (well, they gave up out of shape and washed up Antoine Walker, a conditional draft pick and Simien who is always in street clothes). I'll say this much. McHale is making sure from the start next year's number 1 pick is his. If I'm a TWolve season ticket holder, I'm suing for a refund.

Great article and on the money. Dump Callahan and bring in Pellini or Turner Gill as head coach. Bring back the walk-on program that thrived at NU. Bring back a roster of kids from the midwest and the state itself. And it all starts with the move to bring back Dr. Tom and his ability to calm raging waters.

Callahan MUST GO !

FIRE BILL CALLAHAN ! He is a terrible coach, a non-leader, and as the old lady leaning over the stands at Memorial Stadium yelled last week, a "LOSER" !

I'm waiting to see paper sacks on the heads of Husker fans at home. That should be the final straw before Callahan is gone.

Tom is not a miracle worker, but he is the definition of stability. The miracles will not start until Callahan is fired. He has destroyed the structure of this football program.

By the way, bringing back Osborne is a fantastic "no brainer" move. He is the definition of class, he is a winner, and he does things the right way. He is a true leader, and he will do what is necessary to right this ship. But his comments about Callahan concern me greatly.....Callahan is a loser, a non-motivator, and a horrific game coach. Dr. Tom, you MUST FIRE BILL CALLAHAN !!

``I know in my heart of hearts I'm doing an excellent job, a good job,'' Callahan said. This man is dillusional. This is the worst Husker team in 30 years, and these are HIS players. He's been here 4 years, and here we are wringing our hands at the prospect of losing all these super recruits coming next year due to our horrific team. Nebraska fans piling out of Memorial Stadium on homecoming day.......who would have ever dreamed it would come to this. "....doing an excellent job..." FIRE BILL CALLAHAN ! FIRE BILL CALLAHAN ! FIRE BILL CALLAHAN !!

"I know in my heart of hearts I'm doing an excellent job, a good job," Callahan said. Is this man totally completely lost his mind ? What entails an "excellent job" ???? You have the worst Husker team in 30 years, and it all happened on your watch. This is your 4th year at NU, so these players are YOUR players buddy. It's YOUR defense and offense. It's YOUR team that has Nebraska fans praying for losses as that is the only way we can know for sure that you will be fired. You have destroyed this program in only 4 years. As the old lady yelled at you over the stands this weekend, "Callahan, you're a loser" !

Bringing back Dr. Tom is a great start, but nothing changes with our football program until Callahan is out. FIRE BILL CALLAHAN !!

The article is on the money. Zeke is a hypocrit of the highest order. It's OK for HIM to call an African American woman a B#%#% but it is NOT OK for a male of another race to do the same ? What a jerk ! Dude, it's not OK for ANYBODY to call ANY female of ANY race a B#@$% ! Smiling Zeke......what a fraud ! Glad the Knicks are happy with him.

Wherever he ends up, that team will be bringing a superstar of the highest caliber. But with that said, I would not want him on my San Antonio Spurs. Kobe is a guy who NEEDS the limelight, and the reason the Spurs have been so successful is that the entire team AVOIDS the spotlight and concerns themselves only with winning. It's too good a formula to mess up.

I would love to see Kobe on the Bulls, though. He would bring excitement to that storied franchise !

Firing Pederson is a start, but it is not the answer. Bill Callahan MUST be fired as well. He is the head coach, and these are HIS players and HIS system that has set our program back decades. Boosters were unhappy with Pederson, but the mass exodus at halftime had NOTHING to do with Pederson and EVERYTHING to do with the lousy football being played by Callahans group. He is a lousy leader, a lousy coach, and he cannot stay if they are to start rebuilding this program. CALLAHAN MUST GO !

Pederson's firing is only step 1. Make no mistake, they MUST fire Callahan. Did you catch his quote above "We're going to continue to lead in a positive manner" ? Lead what ! Lead where ! This guy continually has his head stuck in the sand. After the Ball State debacle, he talks about how the 84 scholarship ruling has brought parity to college football, and basically is saying programs cannot be dominant anymore. That's a leader ? No, that is an excuse maker. HE is the leader of this ship, and the truth is the players have quit on him. That necessitates a change at the top. This guy is no leader, he's a LOSER ! FIRE CALLAHAN !
About: Pederson fired as Nebraska athletic director

When the players quit on a coach, you MUST fire the coach. This team has quit. The system in place is flawed, both offensively and defensively, and this team has no identity. Callaghan and Pederson have done more damage to this storied program in 4 years than most people could achieve in a lifetime. Shame on the chancellor at NU if he let's this mess continue. That football team pays the bills for all the other sports combined, and he better wake up this morning and realize that fact.

Admit a mistake was made, fire Callahan at the end of the season, and bring in a former Husker as coach (Turner Gill ?). Now.
