Posted Thursday April 24, 2008, About: Jets prepared to draft Ryan
First of all, Ryan will not be there at #6 because the Chirefs, now that they have two first round picks, will take Ryan at #5. But McFadde WILL be there. Contrary to popular belief, there is no way Oakland takes McFadden at #4. They'll use that pick to grab Gholston and sure up that defensive line and create a pass rush.

I'm not a Giants fan but Eli Manning is a CLASS ACT, and a good leader. Giants fans should be proud of Eli, and come to his defense immediately when someone speaks ill words of their franchise QB. I'm a Seahawks fan and a Dolphins fan. I would LOVE to have Eli in Miami. Giants fans YOU ARE LUCKY!!
Posted Monday April 21, 2008, About: Vikings, Chiefs working on deal
I believe this deal does get done. But the two teams may not announce the trade until after the Chiefs 5th pick in the first round on draft day. Why? The Chiefs desperately need a Left Tackle but they also really really want QB Matt Ryan because they're not sold on Brodie Croyle. If they announce the trade now, that gives the Ravens ample time to work a trade with the the Falcons or Raiders to move up and take Ryan ahead of the Chiefs. I believe the reason the Chiefs want to make this trade is so they can take Ryan with the 5th pick and a Left tackle with the Vikings 17th pick. If this trade does NOT get done, the Chiefs know they MUST take a Left tackle early

Just wandering, Has any of you ever asked your employer for a raise? Has any of you ever changed jobs or even moved to different location to make more money or have a more prestigious position? Surely not. Come on guys. We all want more money and more prestige. NFL players are no different. They are just on a much higher pay scale. But the principal is the same. I don't know about anyone else but I have asked for raises. I have changed jobs for more money, better benefits. I've even changed jobs to have a better more prestigious position. Have you ever been a part of a strike or threatened to strike or know someone who has? Yes these guys make a lot of money. But they risk their future every single day. Concussions, broken bones, knees, backs, Paralasys. Like I said, I don't agree with how Chad is handeling it. But I'm on Chads side in this one. He's good for the game, and he makes it fun.

Chad is always in the top 3 to 5 WRs in the NFL in receptions and yards. Keep in mind he does this while drawing double coverage. TJ is a good WR but make no mistake, Chad is the #1 and TJ the #2. Chad gets all the Double coverage while TJ is always left one on one or zoned. TJ doesn't have the speed or talent of a Chad Johnson. When Chad leaves, TJ's numbers will take a plunge. Anyone remember Alvin Harper, the great wide out that played opposite Michael Irvin in Dallas. That guy was GREAT as the #2. Then he left Dallas for another team. Anyone heardfrom him since? But If memory serves, Irvin kept right on producing. Chad wil produce wherever he goes. But TJ is a different story. I like TJ but no way does he get the catches, yards, and TDs without Johnson being double covered on the other side.

Remeber when Back in the day when Philly and everyone said Cris Carter was a problem. Then he went to Minnesota and all the Philly stuff was history. Chad is a Great player, and a good guy. Like I said, I'll take him anyday. He makes football FUN

I don't agree with how Chad is going about his buisness right now. But the Bengals absolutely done him wrong last year. This man gives his heart and soul every Sunday. He never takes a play off and he plays injured. He is one of the best in the game, and he plays the game with the enjoyment and excitement of kid on a playground. They tried to pin the problems of the Bengals on Chad. Well, it wasn't Chad who gave 30, 40 and even 50 points on Sundays. Chad has fun and gives his all on every play. As far as contracts go, they're not worth the paper they're written on. NFL teams can terminate a player's contract anytime the mood strikes them. Look at the problems retired players are having right now getting medical compensation and care. Chad wants to win a championship and I think he realizes the Bengals are in an absolute mess and he wants out. I'l take Chad and his love for the game ANYDAY in Seattle. I LOVE watching this guy play!!!
