I'm a lifelong Steelers fan & have no love for the Cowboys, but I always respected Landry. That was a very classy thing for him to do!

As a 'Boys fan I feel the same way about the Steelers. :) You do hate Philly, though. Right?

I moved to Tampa from New Jersey in 1972. Little kid (10), no football team to root for. I mailed a letter to all the NFL teams asking for stickers and such. About 10-15 teams sent stuff. The Cowboys sent a bunch of stuff AND a personal note from Tom Landry saying thanks for the letter. They became my team. The next year, I mailed a football to them asking for Staubach, D Pearson, and Calvin Hill's autographs. Guess what I got back in the mail a month later? THATS how you make a fan for life.
