The Big East's "Catholic 7" have had their share of success on the basketball court over the years, but there is one area where these schools have fallen short of excellence - in fostering their Catholic identity.

Indeed, all seven schools are UNRANKED in the latest edition of the "Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College."
