OSU didn't win the NC, the officials gave it to them..
Posted Friday July 26, 2013, About: Emmert vows 'fundamental change'
Sorry to inform you Guido, but it has been semi-pro ball for decades now. Where have you been? I hope you enjoy Rice though.

It's time.....make that past time for Emmert to go, he was a big mistake that needs to be cleaned up. I suspect he will resign soon, given his history of leaving places just prior to his incompetency being exposed ....check his record at prior jobs.

It's also time for the NFL to start footing the bill for their farm system. They have gotten a free ride for way too long!

I am still trying to figure out lala fans became experts ...on everything? When was the last time those used to bes won anything?

Like anyone in lala land knows what the truth is. All they know is what kobe tells them.....such as, he will be the same after this injury.

For $30 mil a year I hope the resign kobe and let him limp up and down the court for the next three years.
Posted Saturday July 20, 2013, About: Cuban suing Yasiel Puig for $12 million
If this guy actually tried to help Puig escape Cuba, then Puig and momma threw him under the bus, Puig owes this guy big time....life in Fidel's prison is no joke. I don't think he owes him $12 mil. but I do think a more reasonable settlement is in order.

You must still be sleeping...

or maybe that comment is just because you are from Texas and therefore are ignorant about the subject altogether!
Posted Monday July 15, 2013, About: At least three teams with strong interest in Oden
The only thing that I would offer him is $100,000 a month with a $1,000,000 bonus if he completes the season and plays at least 35% of the minutes. He is just way to big of a risk to take a chance on, he never could stay healthy.

With the penalties the Heat have to pay already, I just can't see giving him much. Let him sign a contract like the one above, stay healthy playing for a year and then we can talk about a real NBA contract. At this point he has a lot to prove.

"sure he's there for them if they have problems and need help" The only way urb is there is to post bail.

"You're damn right Urban Meyer will win you some ball games and that's exactly what he has done to date" You are right about this, urb has won and will win again. The only problem is that he professes to care about the kids and want to help them straighten out their lives when in fact he only cares about winning. If he wanted to really help them then he would kick them off the team when they screw up.

Meyer should just be honest about it and knock of the bs instead of trying to con people into believing he is something he isn't!
Posted Thursday July 04, 2013, About: Kobe daring Howard to return?
You are right. I have no idea where this writer came up with this spin.

Kobe was simply telling Howard "This is my team, in LA we do things my way, you need to stay and learn. I will teach you here."

Howard will always be second fiddle in LA as long as Kobe is around......and I doubt Kobe has enough sense to hang it up when he finds out he has lost a step or two next year. His ego won't let him admit it. The good news is that Howard isn't capable of being anything other than second fiddle so it is perfect for him. He just doesn't have the mental make up to be a leader on any team!
Posted Thursday July 04, 2013, About: Howard 'up in the air' after Warriors' pitch
Twan? Are you serious? Mike D. wasn't the problem in LA. The problem was pieces that don't (and won't ever) fit together. Too many egos and too many different styles for that team to every work as constituted.....no matter who the coach is. "Run the offense thru Howard", you do know Kobe is there don't you? He will never allow that to happen on "his" team.

"You need to learn how it's done first, and I can teach you here," Bryant told Howard during the Lakers' presentation.

No back seat for Kobe......EVER!

Say it ain't so! Dwight? Up in the air? lol....You have got to be kidding me, damn. This guy goes through life dazed and confused, so how could he possibly be anywhere other than up in the air?
Next thing I know some idiot sports writer is going to expect Dwight to mature, be decisive, make a commitment to a team and really mean it instead of bitching, moaning and groaning a month after he arrives at his next destination. Let's face it folks, Howard and the Lakers deserve each other. The best thing for everyone concerned is for Dwight to resign with the Lakers and be Kobe's boy for he next 4 or 5 years (or however Kobe tries to last in he NBA

Saban tried the NFL....

Saban failed!

Saban is a leader of boys (where he can be a dictator)

Saban is NOT a leader of men (this is a fact he has already proven)
Posted Sunday December 09, 2012, About: Is NCAA out to get the Miami?
The NCAA is trying to prove it's relevance. Once the major conferences get to 16 teams (four conferences @ 16 teams each) they will leave the NCAA and form their own regulatory body based on a charter that makes more sense. The NCAA will either be the governing body for lower lever college football or they will just cease to exist.
