[Coach Kevin Sumlin and Texas A&M's high success in their first SEC season has already made OU's recruiting in the state of Texas even more difficult.]
Who was it that said Texas A&M wouldn't do well in the SEC? And that it wouldn't have any impact on Texas recruiting?
If the kids are prima-donnas and think they are too good to be coached, doesn't matter if they are 4's or 5's, they aren't going to win. See Texas 3 years ago.
And if the kids aren't going to be coached, just waiting for the one year to end so they can go pro, then Calipari has the right to call them out.
The Big East Conference is close to a deal with the NBC Sports Network worth just $20 million per year - this after the conference had previously turned down a deal worth over $150 million for a decade with ESPN.
Not sure about the new math thing...but 150m for a decade would be 15m per year? And isn't that less than 20m per year?
They have made an impressive move up the boards and will likely go higher once the guys who haven't "committed" do....for a school who hasn't done much, it COULD be regarded as suspicious.
