What IU fans expect is a team of high character players who well represent the university, get their degrees and understand the tradition. Sure, we'd love another banner or two to add to the 5 already in Assembly Hall but not at any cost. After the past 6 year parade of malcontents, 1 and dones, bozo students and cheating coaches - we're more than content with the positive upside that Coach Crean brings to the program.

Grow up you whiners. NCAA hoops is big time business these days with coaching changes and defections typical of corporations' constant revolving doors. Crean's record doesn't stink - either on the court or in the classroom. Check the facts before making a bozo comment. Sorry Marquette, IU is a bigger program with more national prominence. That's the reality - deal with it.

If Gordon is available when the Pacers come up for a pick, he'll be continuing his basketball education right at home. Definitely a project type player with a lot of "potential" that needs to be developed. Might as well get paid big $$$ by the pros instead of getting a college degree. Just another kid pushed too fast by his parents and posse.

If Gordon goes pro, he'll be a star.....in the NBADL. Plays no D, can't go to his left, flicks from anywhere (and usually misses) and definitely isn't a team player. The Big 10 coaches figured out his weaknesses halfway through the season and shut him down. Kid's a whiner, has no on court fire and for the life of me I cannot understand what the NBA sees in him to rank him so highly. From an IU perspective, I'm glad he's leaving as Hoosier fans already put up with Bracey Wright's "Me First" attitude.

Sure Eric should be able to capitalize on his NBA market value but another year or two in college play would make him all the more valuable.

Rick Greenspan is a backpedaling bully who has no sense of IU tradition and needs to be fired one day after Sampson is booted. Hiring Skiles only makese sense in that IU can get him right away with no contract to buy out. Have Dakich coach and Skiles hit the road contacting recruits and introducing himself to area HS coaches.

Greenspan is a backpedaling bully who need to go! As for coaches, Scott Skiles makes sense only because IU can hire him without having to buy out another contract. Dakich had a less than exemplary record at Bowling Green and makes a better assistant. Hire Skiles NOW and have him hit road to shore up recruits and introduce himself to midwest HS coaches.

Pacers are a really sad franchise led by a great NBA player who is not even a less than mediocre NBA management person. Why the Simons let Larry Bird, a southern Indiana gee-haw convince them he knew anything outside of the court is the reason the Pacers will continue to plummet to the absolute bottom of NBA oblivion. I've been to 4 Pacer games this season and you can see the disconnect between players, coaches...and fans. Starting over starts with getting rid of Bird, then the players. Really a mess here in Indy. Sad.
