Until Al Davis dies, the Raiders are going to be plagued with this kind of BS and ego driven incompetence. One can only hope that whomever succeeds him will have the sense to trust people to do the jobs they are hired to do. Davis does not have the understanding of the game he might have had when he was the head coach of the Raiders way back in 1963 when they were still part of the AFL. His ego is the disease that is eating the team from the inside out and until he is gone we are not going to be able to compete.

Screw that brianjgault, all those Lakers fans are stunned because they thought it was going to be a short walk to the Championship podium. The Celtics were better, defensively and at times offensively. But be careful when you start that "the fix is in" BS that idiots like you bring up when your team gets schooled, because when you do that you then bring into question every championship the Lakers have won this decade.

While I think most people are having a fun lively and intense discussion about sports (and if you know anything about Celtics - Lakers you know it gets intense), but don't elevate the GAME of basketball to that of real people living their lives and doing good to help others as well as themselves. I think the guy was hurt, hell I have really bad knees and every once and again I get a sharp pain that will stay with me a minute and feels as though my leg is about to fall off so I do believe Pierce felt it, as for Phil Jackson, he got handed his ass in Game 1, out coached by Doc in every aspect of the game, so I guess he has to do something to take the sting out of being shown up like that. As for everything else I am really happy people are taking the Celtics sooo lightly, I love seeing those screwed up faces, making excuses about how the "refs took it from us" or some other BS, love the excuses! I know at least The Celts are going to leave it on the floor and if they don't win they sure had a hell of a run, but I am going to put my money on them!

Perchik, or is it perchick? The Celtics went 24 - 5 against the West, that is 29 out of 82 games, your theory is baseless!! Far better than any team from the West had against the East. People seem to forget, the C's have 3 Bona fide stars, and 7 other players that actually contribute significantly and all 12 play. They had the best record which in my opinion will be the difference because they have home court and they have the league's BEST defense. I can't wait for the screwed up faces, the excuses and the crying of people who didn't take the Celtics seriously, I LOVE IT!
