The objection to steroids is that they give an "unfair advantage". Well, they're not at all the only thing that can give an unfair advantage. Normal street drugs for which one can beat the tests via all of the normal methods, having a shot or two or alcohol before hitting the field, special diets, special workout regimens, meditation, having "social relations" right before a game, and many other things can give players an unfair advantage--especially because not everyone reacts the same way to those things; natural differences in one's physiology, one's health, one's mental state, and one's talent all factor into it. I say stop worrying about policing something that will NEVER be policed fairly/uniformly--all we're doing now is giving an even more unfair advantage to players who know best how to beat the drug tests. Let players do whatever they're willing to do to play.
