Since Harris has taken over Sixers, they have a 69-79 record. Not exactly the definition of big success. I'd be scared if I were a Devils fan

Trivia question: Who said "My main focus had been and has been to look at the places where perhaps we could go back to the fans that once supported us before we look at someone new"?

or the Seattle Dudewheresmyarena?
Posted Tuesday June 25, 2013, About: July 2 is decision day for Coyotes' future
"If enough progress has not been made for a July 2 vote, or if the city council votes it down, that will likely end the Coyotes' stay in the desert and result in the team being moved to Seattle."

Isn't that a bit of jumping to a conclusion??? I have a proposal just in case Seattle gets the Coyotes. Seattle Realarenaneededs
Owners are lined up? Wrong, they've just discovered their love for hockey in Seattle two weeks ago when Chris Hansen contacted them. The point of relocation is stopping losing money. What revenue can you make in a 9,000 hockey arena that won't fit NHL standards? Seattle's new arena doesn't exist, it's just plans and the agreement between Hansen and the city of Seattle has to be modified because the arena was supposed to be built primarily for the Sonics' return.

Where did you see that they've done the deal??? Just because mayor McGinn's "plan B" speech??? You know what? NHL executives like silence concerning relocation. What he did might have done more harm than good to NHL-in-Seattle plans.
No, if there's no agreement between RSE and Glendale, they would need an immediate solution. Only Quebec City can provide that. QC has an arena, Seattle has not, period.
Especially that you know he feels well in Arizona, that part of his family (namely his daughter) lives in Seattle; so why would he have these out clauses if the team is sure to remain in Arizona or has good chances to be relocated to Seattle?

Maybe because Quebec has better chances to be the place where the Coyotes COULD (capital letters on purpose) be relocated, and he doesn't speak French. Not to mention that winters in Quebec are very different from winters in Arizona or Seattle. Not to mention also the distance.

Or you can imagine he'd rather stay in the Southwest and not move to Quebec City...

If you are realistic, no.
Posted Monday June 17, 2013, About: Seattle mayor has already talked to Bettman
I do remember that Bettman and Daly, back in 2011, required everybody (mayor, investor, etc...) in Winnipeg and Quebec City to be quiet about relocation, threatening them to "forget" them if a possible relocation occurred. He also required both cities to have brand new, NHL-ready arenas before being possible relocation places.

Now, Seattle's mayor can talk aloud about relocation and can a team that will play in an arena not made for hockey for 2 years. Bettman's double standards, eh?

Yeah RSE will thanks to to the magical extra revenue from Jobing.com Arena.
Posted Friday June 14, 2013, About: Coyotes teetering on the brink
How many seats for real? I mean with an NHL-ready arena? Because there is a huge gap between minor league hockey standards and an NHL arena. Meanwhile, QC is ALREADY working on it.

Otherwise, do you think Hansen can fund a NBA-NHL venue in SoDo and not pay expansion fees? Gimme a break!
Posted Thursday June 13, 2013, About: Coyotes teetering on the brink
Yeah, 32. NHL has evolved just a bit since 1982, deal with it. How can you imagine a NHL franchise today would play for at least three seasons in a 6,500 seat arena which is not NHL-ready and has no corporate suites?
Posted Thursday June 13, 2013, About: Coyotes teetering on the brink
What year was that? 1981? 1982? I'm talking about present time...
Posted Thursday June 13, 2013, About: Coyotes teetering on the brink
Quebec City's old Colis??e Pepsi (15,176, no luxury suites) and Kansas City's (18,500, luxury suites included) are bigger. And y the way, Quebec's arena will be finished within 18 months.
