Blake also played well against the Pacers in the Mar. 15 game when Bryant played only the first quarter of the game because of his ankle. Blake had 18 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Whether or not he can play well throughout the playoffs may be a different story.

I didn't see the two fouls last night against James prior to his foul against Boozer that got him the Flagrant 1 call. Boozer was screening, and James went to his stomach. Although there was no harm done to Boozer, it does fall under the definition of NBA's definition of a flagrant foul: "A flagrant foul-penalty (1) is unnecessary contact committed by a player against an opponent." From what I read about the game, however, the fouls committed against him by Heinrich and Gibson were more physical than his actions against Boozer.
Posted Monday March 18, 2013, About: George Hill criticizes lack of Pacers fan support
I agree with Hill's statement. I went to a Bulls-Pacers game where there seemed to be as many Bulls fans as there were Pacers fans by the cheering level when each team scored points. Additionally, I encountered a lot of people with Bulls jerseys when I left Bankers Life Fieldhouse but saw none with Pacers jerseys.

But I somewhat agree with Lostwill who said that the economy is keeping fans from games. Not only is it the price of tickets, but it's also the price of gas that prevents me from making a 75+ mile trip to see more Pacers games. I know they run specials on tickets, but I'm a single older person who goes to games myself, so the 2 for Tuesday or Family Night promotions don't help me. Additionally, I live in a college community that has had respectable college basketball teams for the past several years, and I can see quality basketball in my home town for a fraction of the price of a cheap ticket at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and have a better seat.

I also wonder, though, if it's the increased coverage of the Pacers by Fox Sports Indiana and their inclusion into NBA on TNT and ESPN coverage that is keeping people at home rather than attending the games in person. Since the beginning of 2013, I've watched most of the televised Pacers games and have a view of the game from my television better than the view I would get from a seat I can afford at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

To end on a positive note, I've been to more Pacers games this year than in the past because of the team's improvement in record and the higher social standards the present Pacers team is holding itself to. I intend to see at least one playoff game in person and yell my loudest for the Pacers at that game.
