He is not child like just because he has to use small words with you Gisele!

the injury bug does pop in your head. i know its a different sport but gregg oden potential wise was a top pick. injuries might alter some peoples decision.
Posted Sunday October 21, 2007, About: Yanks to make A-Rod offer
12 year contract means 12 more years with no title. A-Rod sucks in the playoffs.
Posted Sunday October 21, 2007, About: Steinbrenner fires back at Torre
Torre is a good manager he would have had an average career if big wallet didn't put a team around him. It is not his fault. Don't know how you can be insulted by being the highest paid manager in the league, with the highest payroll in baseball and not win the World Series in the last 7 years.
Posted Tuesday May 29, 2007, About: Griffey waiving no-trade clause?
i really like jr but its interesting that he is always put in that category of no way he ever did steroids. pujols is already heard stuff about itand what do they have on him? Griffey bulked up. he was tiny when he came in and got big. numerous trips to the dl which peoples bodies tend to break down going on and off steroids (bonds). i have no clue whether he did or did not but i hate when people think some guys are the perfect player. people don't bash mike schmidt for greenies when that is a performance enhancing drug but go after bonds for amphetamines saying he cheated. its the same thing! believe me i am not sticking up for bonds. i hate him with a passion but alot of these players we will never know.
Posted Saturday May 26, 2007, About: Rivera or Rodriguez best closer?
this is a stupid story. comparing these two? story might as well throw jose valverde in the mix. he has more saves than K rod or rivera this season. and gagne was dominant a couple years ago, lets throw him in the mix. we can compare them when they have similar careers if it's even an issue then. hoffman and rivera that is an argument.

rivera 2.36 era, 416 saves, 88% successful, 800 s.o.
hoffman 2.72 era, 495 saves, 90% successful, 980 s.o.

these two are great.
putz, k-rod, nathan, and papelbon are great right now. they might get into another discussion in about ten years
Posted Saturday May 26, 2007, About: Magic, Bobcats have room for Lewis
Orlando and Charlotte are the only other teams with room to sign him? I would let him walk. Sonics, Bobcats and Magic are all underachieving teams. So this is certainly a case where a player is 100% about the money. Career average of 16 points a game opts out of 12.5 million a year for two more years. See ya, we will give your money to Durant.
Posted Thursday May 24, 2007, About: Riley rips NBA lottery system
I believe that people tanked at the end of the year to get better odds, but where did those teams get an advantage when it came to the draft. I think the 6th worst team is drafting 1st and the 5th worst team is drafting 2nd. The worst team who shut it down early and the 2nd worst team who totally tanked on purpose are drafting 4th and 5th. I really don't think the celtics are worthy of Oden or Durant after that. Everyone is tlking about switching the system. Give me one really good system better. People say football's system. You are still going to get the worst team picking 1st. I think it is nice to give the other bad teams a chance at the number 1 pick. Trailblazers had the 30% chance of picking number 1 and they didn't get it. This year they do. It works out. Nobody complained on the Blazers behalf last year. Not only that I believe they drafted the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR. Heat picked a franchise player at a pick outside the top ten in Dwayne Wade. Keep this system or find one better...
Posted Thursday May 24, 2007, About: Rocket struggles against Seadogs
I hate the Yankees, I dislike Clemens. I feel he is the best pitcher I will ever see. With that said I don't know if he can do it again. He is still working his way back so he will get better. He is not in MLB shape. I see him helping little early on. They should not have given him that contract though. He could help more showing up everyday teaching these young arms, that way he is helping more than every fifth day.
Posted Wednesday May 23, 2007, About: Commish slams Portis' dog fight remarks
How can anyone say that it isn't a big deal and it's no one elses business? Dog fighting is a felony. I guess the general population feel its a big deal. Portis is a uneducated low life and should stick to football so he doesn't continue and lose his little fan base that he does have.
