this is where the bitterness comes out....you guys are really that bitter that my dad is helping me....again HELPING me pay for law school?

that just makes you seem so bitter and jealous......the fact that he worked hard and wants to help his son that is meeting him halfway (with my own savings and scholarship that i earned) and you criticize for that just makes you look so bitter its not even funny

it really shows how much your parents helped you out....I am sorry your dads were not hard enough workers to help you pay for school in order to make a better life for yourself- I really am- but please, give me a break

if you think I am ashamed my dad helps me pay for law school you are crazy- If i did not give a crap and was wasting his money and not helping too- then thats one thing

the fact that I am paying some myself, and have earned a scholarship to help pay- and got good grades show that I appreciate and value that help

again, maybe its a thing that other people cannot understand because they were not that lucky

i come across as a realist and the truth makes you uncomfortable and feel bad

absolutely not a waste...do you know how many people have told me that having that accounting back ground is a huge way to differentiate yourself from the other great majority of people who go to law school with poly sci or english degrees?

that having that accounting and business back ground is a huge leg up on everyone else I go to school with and will help me immensely down the road.....

the other day at my uncles birthday party, a friend of his who was a lawyer, gave me his card and i chatted for a while, and he told me if i could get my CPA that you can write your ticket....that accounting degree and experience is HUGE

mick, again, working hard is not working smart

you can dig a ditch

or start a business, take out some loans, buy a bull dozer, and hire someone to do it for you

you sound like the ditch digger, not the guy that actually puts it together

my Grandpa was a gunner on a torpedo bomber in the pacific, my other one was an army ranger (one of the first) in Korea, my dad, and 2 uncles were in the Navy, countless cousins that served. what the heck does that have to do with anything?

I am sorry if you dont feel comfortable with me valuing a professional more than a chip deliverer

one benefits society a WHOOOOOLE lot more than the other and is thus rewarded so

this just screams of bitterness by someone that cannot hack it....someone that has seen 22 year old kids with degrees come in and make as much money as him and he cannot figure out why....it happens all the time all over the place

havent accomplished anything? I have my accounting degree, 5 years work experience and finished my 1st year of law school in the top 20% of my class while traveling all over the place

your the guy with no kids, no wife, no degree , a terrible relationship with your parents and darn near 60....lol, what have you accomplished? anything at all?

at 30 I DWARF anything you have done

that sounds like pure bitterness from someone that was not smart enough to get a degree...sorry....I cannot make you smarter, or make your parents well off enough to help you out....

your bitterness and jealously is just so apparent

or you can save money and get a scholarship and have your parents help you out....

I really think you had an awful relationship with your parents and it just burns you that you never got the love and help that a lot of other people do....

really, its no matter to me

and say my dad paid for 100%, (which as i said is not true- grandpa, and scholarship is also helping) but hey, I would not be ashamed 1 bit of my dad wanting me to get a higher education and bettering myself, thats freaking awesome he would be generous to help his son out, i hope i can help do the same things one day that my dad did---its a big reason why I am continuing my education

al ot of people without those advantages are going to be bitter about it...its just part of life....

you can work hard all day and go dig a ditch mick...or someone smarter than you can run a business buy a bull dozer and hire you to do the grunt work

no doubt about it....im sorry it makes you jealous that my parents have the means to help me go to school....haters are gonna hate though

working hard and working smart are 2 different things

A guy can work hard digging a ditch all day, but a guy that can apply for a loan, manage a business and buy a bulldozer can work smart AND work hard

its called having intelligence, talent and ambition

40? how about 32...addition is clearly not your strong suit, and I already have 5 years experience that is going to be essential to landing a very strong job....

now that I have 150 credit hours I have begun studying for my CPA.....hopefully I can take parts of it this fall, and by next fall have it almost done

graduating with my CPA and a JD and 5 years experience I can write my own ticket and get in where i want to get in and make EFFEN BANK!

why does a doctor make a bunch of money? why does a lawyer make a bunch of money? or a CEO?

why does a walmart clerk or a vending machine stocker or a janitor make very little money?

because of the impact they have on society, because of their talent, and becuase of how smart they were at working

working hard is not always working smart.....you can work EXTREMELY hard, but if you have no talent or intelligence its not gonna get you very far, and it runs the opposite way also- no mater how smart you are, if you dont work hard, its probably not going to take you very far

most of the time- where you are is a product of how hard you worked and your intelligence

If I grew up to stock vending machines, I would have waste a HUGE amount of talent and would disappoint myself, and my family and could not help people near as much

I live in the real world

tell that parable next time on your next job interview...good luck

I actually already got my career started and did accounting for 5 years after graduation so I would have a firm base after law school- a network of contacts and experience- its why I did not go directly after school and try and enter into a profession that is extremely competitive

but again....this is all clearly above your head

when I get out, I will have my JD, 5 years of experience in accounting, and have very little debt.....and God willing, possibly even my CPA if i can squeeze in studying and taking the test next summer

I will be able to write my own ticket

without a doubt....

but- and this is my own personal belief- that I believe many people share....

but if there are 2 people and one is a vending machine stocker, and one is a doctor- who is the person that worked harder? who is the person with more intelligence? who is the person that accomplished more and benefits society more?

its not a tough question to answer

dude, its obvious what she is saying is true- the way you freak out on here for disclosing it all is the only evidence anyone needs....

please....you know it and i know it....there is no use denying it

who was injured? a bunch of guys that were ancient or had terrible health histories to begin with?

it should not surprise anyone when a guy who has been constantly injured gets injured again- or when guys who are near 40 get injured

a lot of people thought Kidd would be an asset- he sucked, Smith sucked, Melo is a 1 way player, Chandler sucked in the playoffs

every team is hurt and has injuries when the playoffs came around- the Knicks no more than a great many other teams
