Actually the dubs just beat the Knicks in NY, convincingly.
Bobcats get the better player (and when was the last time a contract played on the court) but this was a business deal.
The only person WhackJack hasn't blamed recently is himself. Natural born leader, no doubt.
No, just like Marbury, Sprewell, etc, some players vastly overrate themselves and the demand for their skill set.
Cheers!
Coach is hardly perfect but in fact developing NBA talent is something he does quite well. What he can't do is grow NBA talent where it doesn't exist (say Patrick O'Bryant, or Marcus Williams).
And maybe the dubs should have fired Nelson, but he's the best coach they've had since the Warriors won the championship.
Cheers!
If he can't get playing time on a team that loses two point guards, it's not because the coach is mean. He's looked pretty bad when he was on the court, honestly. No surprises about the trade request but the real question his agent should be asking is "who wants him?"

Now if we're talking Raymond Felton and Gerald Wallace...
Cheers!

But Rowell's overplayed his hand by leaving the situation open ended; a fine should have been conclusive, but by retaining the "right" to void the contract at any time, the dubs exec is playing double jeopardy with his leading talent. Not a very proper workplace vibe y'know? Sows the seeds of distrust.
For Warriors fans though it just seems like more of the same incompetent, indecisive and ineffective team management we've seen for decades. Is Bobby Rowell channelling the ghosts of St Jean and Twardzik? Are basketball fans by the bay doomed to more mindlessly numbing mediocrity?
Bloody hell!!

Harrington got parked on the 3 line because his inside game is incredibly inconsistent (ie he misses a lot of layups). He's a solid NBA baller with a decent contract, but for someone who looks like a ninja turtle he sure ends up in his shell at all the wrong times. What's he going to do for NY that he didn't for the Warriors, Pacers or Hawks?
How much money are the Knicks spending on inactive players this season anyhow? $30+K on Stephon and Eddie, with the fattest total payroll in the league. Nothing like paying top shelf prices for bottom basement quality eh?
Yes with Mullin's record of signing such top tier talent as Dunleavy, Murphy and Foyle to outlandishly stupid contracts, he'll fit right in with the Knicks legacy. It's no coincidence that Mullin started making better decisions the moment Nelson showed up.
Cheers!
Anyhow who would you rather watch on a regular basis, the dubs or the Nets?
Staying.
And does Kobe really mean that peeps who are paying hundreds and thousands to watch them play (which keeps him fairly well paid) shouldn't let their negative emotions out when they feel someone is not exerting fair effort? Because that's some crazy advice for Kobe to be giving (he may want to try it himself sometime).
Sorry but if Kwame is so flustered by boos, maybe he should find career better in line with his sensitivities.
Patrick Ewing shortened Patrick Ewing's career; his lap dance to championship ring ratio just was never good enough (not to mention what like 3 total career assists).
And will he please trade David Lee to the dubs for Mickael Pietrus, as one final testament to his "skills" as GM? OH PLEASE!?!?!
