There could be a big play- and the Cavs are certainly preparing for that- in the offseason- it seems they think they can get a big trade done. Who knows if they can- but that could change the landscape quickly.

if they ever fought in the locker room Dion would wreck Kyrie---- Dion is jacked and a little crazy....I would not give up on Dion Waiters when he is 22- once this kid figures it out he is going to be good.

Lets see what this summer brings- I suspect the Cavs will tell Irving- 5 years- take the max- or nothing- they do not want to mess around with a 3 year deal from what i have heard- if he declines to take the max and 30% of the payroll than they will explore moving him.

From what I have heard- Kyrie will take it because A. the security of his first big time deal. and B. if he doesn't and goes year to year- (he cannot leave anyway for at LEAST 2 more seasons no matter what) -it will really hurt his marketability and the chatter now from the media will be nothing compared to what it will be then when it looks certain he will be gone but still here for 2 more years- it just looks really bad and is really bad for all parties involved if he does not take the 5 year deal. Thats why I think he takes it-

but we shall see this summer.....

no one can take back a 24 million dollar contract without trading away a third of their team- no way Amare is traded- there was really no way Pau was getting dealt with that contract and he was only 19 million--- a 24 million dollar deal is nearly impossible to move because the other team would have to trade a multitude of players and its just not feasible- ESPECIALLY if the Knicks wanted to preserve cap space and could only take back players on short term deals

tells you everything you already know about Big Baby

-he cannot take being a role player on a good team- he is gonna have to be a big time scorer on a team that sucks to be happy

in a few places people do- but overall- i think people are so saturated with a 162 baseball games that they really dont care for any other baseball

i mean- no one unless they are hardcore is watching a minor league baseball game on TV- ESPECIALLY out of market or college baseball game for that matter

not only 4 years- or in a lot of cases a 5th redshirt year-

free tuition
free room and board
free meals
stipend
1st pick on classes
tutors
great trainers and doctors and coaching to make you better
heightened status on campus socially

and probably about 100 nice little advantages

thats PLENTY

I think some of it has to do with how the lottery is set.

If Milwaukee gets the #1 pick- i can see Parker very likely staying at Duke another year. Now if the Lakers get #1- then i think he would definitely come out

with about 6 teams (that have at least a decent chance of getting #1) in between on moving him to go or stay

the Harrison twins suck, Embiid has a bad back, Parker might stay in school, Smart has had his issues....

this draft does not look as good as it did a 3 month ago

for some reason the other players on the team seem to like Waiters more than they like Kyrie.....

honestly- i hate to say this- but for whatever reason the team looks more energized and the ball has been moving more and Waiters has really flourished
