Carson Palmer is a MUCH better option over Collins and Sims. So we are in strong disagreement on that.

Say what you will about Palmer, but he's an obvious upgrade over their current QB's. While it's true that the Titans will have to surrender one or multiple draft selections, having a capable QB could do wonders for the Titans next season...if football is even being played. The options:

1.) Acquire Kevin Kolb
2.) Acquire Matt Hasselbeck from free agency, draft QB
3.) Acquire Carson Palmer via trade
4.) Acquire a cheaper free agent QB, draft QB
5.) Do nothing, and struggle to close games next season.

Clearly.

Oh yeah, you mean the BRIBE? That was a classy move by the Green Bay Packers.

"Favre lovin' fool"

It's true, I have a great amount of respect for Brett Favre. But fool? Come on, my arguments have been much more sound than your "cat sound defense system".

Okay, so when I discuss my viewpoint against another's viewpoint through conversation...you know...PURPOSE of a forum...I'm catty"? You've reverted to "meow" and "hiss". This is great debate.

Uh, I was responding to a different person's post. I wasn't addressing you.
Posted Friday February 11, 2011, About: Why Won't Favre Just Go Away??
I can't say that I own one. However, I do give respect when it's due.

"A cautionary word of advice"? Where do you think you are? This is a forum, I'll speak my mind. And yes, complaining about hearing too much about someone, and then CREATING a post about him is ridiculous. I'm not the one who's fumbling with that concept.

Don't say "homer". You can't support a team, and then turn around and call out people who support their team. "Homer" is one of the least intelligent words to come out of sports, and that's saying something.
Posted Friday February 11, 2011, About: Why Won't Favre Just Go Away??
Ok, so you complain about hearing about Favre all the time, and you POST about Favre...just to get a reaction from people, about Favre? That's alot of 'Favre' for a person who claims to be sick off him. I'm glad you can find some humor within your obsession.
Posted Friday February 11, 2011, About: Why Won't Favre Just Go Away??
I don't know what's worse, you complaining about Favre getting too much coverage, only to post a link about him, or the fact that he hasn't even accepted the offer, making this story pointless to begin with.

Favre really isn't a possibility at all. I put Favre's return at 1%. We're just discussing the scenerio, had he returned.

I completely agree. Hell, JeMarcus Russell could have been something with the right coach and system. Oakland? I pity any young quarterback trying to learn the game over there.

Ahhh, J-Lo. Memories!

I remember turning on the TV and seeing this lineman walk up to the center, and then he took a snap! What the hell?!

Hasselbeck seems like a good possibility, but McNabb and Hasselbeck have chronic injury concerns. All of this is pointless if they can't get some decent pass protection. They could literally have a tank that shot out footballs and it would still get busted by mid-season.

Absolutely. Cincinnati is rotted from within.
Are you really going to talk about what Rodgers has earned over Favre? A little too soon, sport.

That "geriatric prima donna" can still win some games in this league, especially with a healthy wide receiving unit at the start of the season. This league proves time and time again that last year doesn't mean next year. He provides a better chance of winning than most of the available talent.

It's just posturing. They're trying to make the other side believe that they won't budge. But when you actually imagine a 2011 lockout, it changes the entire league, and not for the better. There is no upside to a lockout, especially when the end result will be a hurried agreement to resume football in2012. They will find a resolution, and the league will continue, most likely at the last minute.
Posted Thursday February 10, 2011, About: The Vikings Next Starting QB?
They can say this and that about a lockout, but both sides love money way too much to actually go through with it. No lockout.

Excuse me, "Lombardi" trophy. My mistake.
