tatum ball? do you call him that because everytime he gets a touch the defense is likely to yell "ball"?
i hung in there with tatum bell longer than most, but he fumbles too much. he also is a terrible receiver, which doesn't make him the ideal fit for a mike martz offense. still, he will break some long ones and he will be exciting to watch.
go broncos!
for all of those who say it's the system, when is the last time "the system" produced a 2000 yard runner? how about a league mvp? when is the last time the broncos won the super bowl?
and don't tell me it was all elway, he got there 3 times before and came up short each time. don't get me wrong, elway is one of the greatest qbs ever. he's been "the man" to me since we were classmates at stanford. but he couldn't have won it all without td. they needed each other to win back to back super bowls.
and btw, it is a CRIME that monk is not in. one of the greatest receivers of all time. hopefully they will go in together!
dj williams is poised to have a breakout season; this is why he was drafted in the first round. he will be one of the nfl's "new stars" in 2007.
i have always felt kitna is underappreciated, but he is not going to get the lions past round 1 of the playoffs, at best... cause he's probably not going to get them to the playoffs at all.
don't forget about the acquisition of tatum bell, i'm interested in seeing what he can do in a mike martz offense. they need to get him in space, but he still is not a good pass-catching back.
