College kids acting like college kids!!!! Give me a break.
Posted Tuesday December 30, 2008, About: Why Raptors might trade O'Neal
Raptors should be patient, they have not even played half of the season and due to injuries, the starters have not had the opportunity to really play together. Give this lineup a chance to grow together.
Posted Thursday December 25, 2008, About: Why Angels don't want Manny
Check your facts...Manny has put up great numbers every year...not just contract years. You can talk about how he left Boston...but you can not say he did not put up offensive numbers ever year. Time will tell, but Manny will be in another WS before Boston will. The guy is a great hitter.
Posted Friday December 19, 2008, About: Why Miami suspended Marve
Your generalization of athlete's shows that you are not the brightest individual to begin with...for every athlete that misses a class or does drugs, etc. I can show you a higher percentage of non-athlete on college campuses that do the same or worse. The percentage of athlete breaking the law is a lot less than the "general" population...but you have to do more than read ESPN to know that. But, you being such a bright person, I am sure you already knew that!!!!
Posted Friday December 19, 2008, About: Deion: Cowboys need drama
Just because two individuals have a different opinion or do things differently does not mean one is a professional and the other is not. Deion is arguably the best ever at his position (Aikman is not even in the conversation of best ever at his position). They both worked hard at their craft and they both are HOFs. Some teams/individuals need drama, emotion to play better, some do not...Aikman and Sanders different people different opinions, nothing wrong with that!!!!
Posted Wednesday December 17, 2008, About: Tour player: Nobody likes Mickelson
Rikj has back up her position with facts, while Jonis has only given a opinion...bias opinion. True golf will continue, but Tiger is responsible for the growth of the sport. You may not care, but the players, tour and number of charities and communities have benefited from this growth and they all will tell you it is due to Tiger's popularity. You don't have to like him, but you have to admit his contribution to the sport is truly remarkable. You don't have to take Rikj or my word for it, numerous tour officials and players have admitted that fact and the bean counters have proven it with the stats. Keep hating, but respect it.
Posted Tuesday December 16, 2008, About: Caddy's comments leave Tiger holding bag
Tiger fan base from shrinking? Tiger is probably the only athlete that is bigger than his sport (well at 20-25% of the golf fan base would agree).
Posted Monday December 15, 2008, About: Mickelson responds to Tiger's caddy
Fake Phil needs to concentrate on playing better golf and his fitness and not worry about a "Caddie"....as far as Williams, he should worry about getting the same fate as the last Tiger caddie that decided he wanted some spot light time!!!!
Posted Monday December 08, 2008, About: Vince Young showing immaturity
I don't get this...he has had a tough year, but he has won more games than he has lost and he is still a very young QB, going through a tough time. So he didn't talk the press...SOOOOOO!!!! Time will tell, but the say VY is a bust is idiotic. But than again, being jealous of another person (90% of the posters and 95% of the press has this problem) is just plain dumb.
Posted Friday December 05, 2008, About: Willingham: 'Maybe Notre Dame got it right'
Having set numerous Navy promotion board over the past 10 yrs...I know for a fact your information or inference here is inaccurate. Race is never bought up in a board and no one knows how the other board member is voting. On these boards it is usually only one or two minorities voting, so are you saying you where so how discrimating against by "whites". Let it go, you where judge by your record and unfortunately for you, your peers where better. Or you can continue to use that excuss (if that make you happy...enjoy!!!)
Posted Friday December 05, 2008, About: Bartender rips 'rude' Plaxico
Does it make you feel better to announce someone as a felonies(???) even before he is even convicted, actually even charged!!!!
Posted Friday December 05, 2008, About: Bartender rips 'rude' Plaxico
That same bartender is smiling and pimping herself in front of the next patron right now for tips. I don't condone being rude to anyone...but for a bartender to kick a patron when he is down is kind of "RUDE". So he doesn't smile and play nice with the staff...oh well, but without the top spenders...that bartender might not have a job!!!!
Posted Thursday December 04, 2008, About: Family strain affected McNabb's play
If McNabb is so bad, stop supporting the organization and demand that Philly cut him. I am sure he will be okay with that and the Bears, Vikings, KC, Det, etc would be thrilled to. Any true FB fan can appreciate the talent McNabb has and understand the lack of weapons he has always had in Philly. Regardless, of all these so call fans who claims stress should not effect your performance....Get real. Not an excuse, just reality. These are the same people who say kick Jones or Burress of the team because they are a distraction (by your definition, this should not effect good players or teams).
Posted Wednesday December 03, 2008, About: Why Billups is a good fit in Denver
Denver will still be a 7/8 place team in the West by the end of the Year...they still have the same below avg coach and will lose in the first round. Det will be 3/4 seed in the East, lose in the second round. The benifit, Iverson salary comes off the book next year and Det will free up the cash to go after a free agent. Denver has a pt guard for at least a couple more yrs. But neither really improved their chances of winning a championship this yr.
Posted Wednesday December 03, 2008, About: Source: Knicks, Marbury need cooling off period
Evidently, this moron has more business since than you. He signed the contract and is owe the money...why leave it to a organization that has done everything to ruin him. Moron, think about it.
Posted Wednesday December 03, 2008, About: Bynum unhappy with Lakers rotation
Bynum was inserted into the game at the :12 sec mark for Odum, so he was on the floor when Indie tip in the last shot. Also Indie PF and C hit wide open shots all night. The hold team played very poor defense and the rebounding was terrible during the second half. It was a team failure....
Posted Wednesday December 03, 2008, About: Bynum unhappy with Lakers rotation
Actually, if you watch the game, it was poor defense and offensive rebounds that killed the Lakers. In Bynum was on the floor during the last shot and tip (he was inserted during at the :12 sec mark for Odom. Bynum/Gasol allowed numberous offensive rebounds throughout the game and Indie PF and C were shooting open shots all night. The hold team just did not play well.
Posted Monday December 01, 2008, About: Marbury rips teammates, coach on way out
Both the Knicks and Marbury are part of the blame here...Knicks (D'Antinio) made the decision not to have the guy as part of the team, due to Marbury history...they should have bought him out, cut him or at the very least tell him not to show up until we can reach some type of agreement...but to have him come and sit on the bench and the coach to continue to take shots at Marbury only made the situation worse. What exactly did they expect from Marbury. Another example of a poorly ran organization.
Posted Monday November 24, 2008, About: Marbury: I didn't refuse to play
I hate to defend Marbury, but if you have been told you are not in the plans and have not been allowed to practice with the team, how can they all of sudden expect him to play. Marbury would have hurt the team because he has not been practicing with the team. D'Ant would have used that poor play to defend why Marbury is not playing. NY fans wake up, D'Ant has a personnal vindetta against Marbury and he is trying his best to embrasses Marbury.
Posted Monday November 24, 2008, About: Eagles looking to Kolb in 2009
Reid needs to go...He has drafted Def and off lineman over the past five yrs, yet the def still is weak against the run and the off line is not considered one of the top ten lines. They still have not drafted a Nr 1 receiver, if you watch the game, do you ever see much separation between receiver and def back? It's a wonder McNabb has done as well as he has so far. No running game, weak line and a bunch of Nr3/4 receivers!!!! Hopefully, they cut McNabb and Philly will finally see just how bad Reid is as a coach.
Posted Friday November 21, 2008, About: Vitale: Arizona should have hired Knight
