i'd be wary about jumping in that #5 car. it would be a no-win for someone of stewarts stature. historically that car, the third or fourth car of the stable,for some reason isnt up to speed with the other hms cars. it won a champ in 96 but the third car#25 wasnt up to speed. gordon, who always was fast off the truck, is struggling just for a top 10 these days. gee, could it be the #24 is that third car? ofcourse it will be denied. it doesnt help that kyle busch wasnt the force last year driving the #5 as he is today. anyway i think nascar should limit teams to only 2 cars. none of that wife ownership bs either. it would take all crediability away from nascar. come on it was bad enough nascar didnt penalize jr . not once but for a least a couple times passing the pace car. if ernie, rusty, spencer or bodine did that ....who are you people trying to kid! if nascar would allow the 4 most popular drivers under one ownership......esspecially hendricks.....where has our sport gone to?

taz, we all love your nationalism. but when toyota entered cup wasnt the arguement was that more toyota's are made here in the states than ford and gm? i'm pretty sure gm is in mexico and ford is up in canada.union breakers. anyway, i think you are wrong about home depot not wanting to sponsor a foreign car.when it comes to economics, that company is just as bad as wall-mart. its all about the cash-ola for its ceo, not what us good americans feel.
