Ummmm......don't like sayin it, but Quick and the Kings look pretty darn good. Chicago lost 4-1 to Detroit today......so....we shall see.

Love the NHL. I'm on the fence on this one. Big guys get to use their height and weight as needed, but a smaller player who cannot compete at the same game tweaks so he can be effective, and not get hurt. I see why they didn't like the hit, but I still can't go either way. Marchand does have a spotty rep, for being here for such a short time( no pun intended), but now he'll have to keep his NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEE clean. Sorry bout the long nose ;)

I like Malkin. He's agreat player, and I do think he's up around the top five....

however....

I have to go right. Toews is not only a great player, but has a lot more responsibility to his team as Captain, and every year he improves on his scoring, which hasn't been that bad. Add that to the fact that he has Malkin beat in most other categories.

Who ever said face-offs aren't important made a huge error in judgement. It's all about puck possession. Malkin was great last night, and is talented. Great hands, but Toews has him beat.

HA! Fair enough, and good reason.

It is close in a lot of ways, but I do agree with lefts assesment of people jumping on the Hawks, and JT bandwagon. Not that the kid doesn't deserve it, but it was a tad much.

I like both openings, and waiting for a strong second from O.J.

I'm talking TD here, not a murder trial! ;)
