As an Eagles fan, I'd love for the Giants to take Heyward-Bey.
He is nothing at all like T.O.
Owens is a very megalomenical person, whereas Chad takes a much lighter approach to the game. Chad doesn't do the things he does with ill-intentions, but a light heart.
I think a lot of you people seem to forget that your only fans of this game. Football is entertainment. Everyone seems to take it far too seriously. Your not affected when someone celebrates so why whine and berate the player so much becaus of it.
They have the players necessary to compete for a championship, though it would require moving players around a lot to do so. To make competing for that championship easier, they're looking to add depth.
As for your notion that the Eagles are subtracting depth; how do you propose they make room for 12 draft picks, not to mention 8 draft picks from last year who didn't see the field at all.
Now I know, losing Dawkins was a big let down for a lot of Eagles fans, but on the field it made a lot of sense. Dawkins wanted to be an every down player still, and clearly he just can't. He's still a great in the box safety, but you can't retain a 36 year old one-dimensional safety who wants to be on the field every play. Sure, it would be nice to retain him as an inspirational leader but his morale would obviously be hindered by the fact he was not seeing the field quite as often as he wanted to.
Look for the Eagles to try to package one of their first rounders in a draft day deal to acquire a "superstar" at one of their needs (Anquan Boldin, Jason Peters, Braylon Edwards) or to move up to acquire one of the premiere offensive tackles in this draft. They'll still have plenty of picks to add depth at OLine, RB, TE, DLine, and the secondary.
Don't imagine he's too fond of Hossa either.

I also think that the Number 4 should be retired right across the NHL!
It's long overdue!
Maybe Berard thinks its 44 and can only see half of it.
Homgren should re-think signing Bryan, afterall, with the injuries this team suffers Bryan is a high risk. All Holmgren has to do is look back to last season...and with hindsight being 20/20...oh never mind. Bryan is the exception to that rule.

Haven't they been poised to make that move for the last 3 years?

Imagine getting paid $500,000 every time you showed up for work.

They all came against Justice in a game where Westbrook was hurt. Esentially they were stacking the line with 3 ends, one over a guard. The Eagles Offensive line is very good, but a bit old.

Lito would be the first CB on mostly any team in the NFL

Basketball and Baseball games count. I can't count how many races come down to 1 game or a half of a game for the postseason.
